  1. Going off Goody's presser it seems he'll play next week. Goody could not be more proud of Bedfords performance tonight and gave him a good pump up.
  2. I think the Damo Barrett one has been going on for years now. The one you may be referring to was Kane Cornes when he called out Adam Treloar's (so he should) poor finals performance.
  3. Same. I mean the boy has guts for turning up to the actual presser in the first place.. Was completely shocked when I heard him pipe up.
  4. This sums it up.
  5. I might be on my own here but I think that's absolute [censored] poor form by Beveridge. Whether or not we like how journalists go about there business I think all Tom Morris was doing was simply his job. I mean in the end he actually got it right? Hunter was actually a late out today only to be then brought back in when JJ became a last minute out. Beveridge is really showing his true colours of late in the past 12 months. Becoming a bigger sore loser then Chris Scott.
  6. Did anyone just catch Bevo's presser? Absolutely went nuts at Tom Morris for the Lachie Hunter story. Was quite Extraordinary. Bevo walked straight out immediately. Thoughts? IMG_8070.MOV
  7. Jeaus christ I was nervous in that last quarter.. A great win after being challenged. Some really good signs from players who seem to continue good form into this new year. Really disappointed about Salem.
  8. Missing those shots is going to cost us isn't it..
  9. I hope those misses in the last 3 minutes are costly..
  10. Jesus I wanted Tomlinson initially but after seeing him with a turning circle of a titanic it's leaving our backline quite vulnerable. Harmes having a shocker. Honestly not sure what his role is exactly tonight. I'd rather Dunstan, at least he goes in and wins the ball. I'm confused why we have randomly moved Tom McDonald back? Not only that we've bizarrely moved him onto a quicker and zippy Mitch Hannan. Steven May got taught a lesson by Naughton. He's struggling without Lever. Need big lifts from Fritsch, Pickett, Gawn who have all gone MIA.
  11. Sparrow is seriously a liability in there. Need to get him out!
  12. 5-0 centre clearance And 9-2 for the game to the Dogs. Getting absolutely smacked. Sparrow giving us nothing, Petracca and Oliver getting absolutely smacked.
  13. Brown looking dangerous
  14. Backline in all sorts. Think we are in trouble before game has even started..
  15. Hasn't been released even though they stated that it would be released on Monday...
  16. Them pre game nerves...
  17. Not sure if anyone noticed but watching the Charlie Spargo interview they had the backline group in a huddle where Steven May was obviously giving a speech. Angus Braydhaw was part of that back line group.
  18. I think we're underestimating the loss of River's and Petty. River's for me has that speed and power in being able to play on the likes of Weightman, Hannan and Johanisson. Not only that, we lose his dash and long kicking out of defence. Watch the GF and you'll see he won some very crucial one on one's and also made some critical spoils. Huge loss for our team. Petty is the other that could play on Naughton and free up May, but also his reading of the play and intercept marking is so important for our defensive structure. I'm going to admit that having Hunt and Smith in the same side is giving me some serious concerns for tomorrow night. Smith has already shown that on high pressure games (Brisbane final) he struggles with his lack of game awareness and tends to fumble during crucial stages of thr game. Hunt is just way to unpredictable. I did not like his game against Carlton at all and thought he was lazy at times in defending. Just remember that this is a whole new year now. I think the doggies could win this comfortably and wouldn't surprise me if they do so. They would have taken some enormous learnings from the Grand Final and making sure it never happens again. Just feel like we're a tad unbalanced down back.
  19. Jesus.. Its ridiculous how extremely cool and calm Goody was even in the 3rd when we were 19 points down. He called it immediately after that Fritsch goa that we were back on when most of us were probably still a nervous wreck (I certainly was). We're incredibly lucky to have Simon Goodwin leading this club. In matter of fact how lucky are the playing getting to play under his guidance.. "Great day to be alive lads"
  20. Hunt and Joel Smith in the same baseline looks way too shaky for me.
  21. Watching the captains runs footage on instagram I can see Dunstan, Bedford and Weideman. I presume these guys will be our emergencies tomorrow night.
