Bailey Laurie Re-Signs For 2 Years
Lol.. Out of all the posts on here you've taken mine completely out of context. Of course he was never going to be part of the 5 players that were coming in this week. But he was never going to be rushed in. He plays the same position as Spargo, ANB, Bedford and Pickett. He's was obviously next in line. They were 5 premierships players coming back into the team on top of having quiet game game in the VFL. I don't understand how saying he's close to AFL selection is being a stretch considering he's been named emergency a few times this year? In fact, against St Kilda he had to be pulled out of the VFL game to warm up with the senior squad. This is even a quote off Tim Lamb. āHe had a strong off-season and has improved his game to the point that he has found himself on the verge of senior selection, being named an emergency a number of times for our AFL side. I suppose he's out of line as well ...

Great mindset and great advice by Goody.

Bailey Laurie Re-Signs For 2 Years
Great news. Certainly close to AFL selection and even if he doesn't get a game this year a full VFL season under his belt including finals experience is just as beneficial.

TEAMS: Rd 12 vs Sydney
The guy is a drunken disgrace. Go back to last year before the preliminary final game and he was so adamant that Geelong would have our measure and would knock us off.. he was more raving of them and admitted that he couldn't fully trust Melbourne at that time because he thought we hadn't been fully tested.

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Sydney
Whilst I think you make some really good points I disagree with Sparrow. He had a poor game on the weekend but he simply won't be dropped. Prior to the freo game his form has been solid enough and I doubt he gets dropped off the back of 1 poor game. He's playing a support role for Oliver and Petracca and does he's bit when he's giving these guys a chop out. He's sacrificing a fair bit for the benefit of our 2 superstars. Oliver and Petracca have in the past, raved on about the likes of Sparrow, Jordon and Harmes who support these guys being able to do what they on field.

Farewell Sam Weideman
Unfortunately I think we tried to trade him last year but there were no bites. If no one wanted him last year then no one is going to want him again this year.

Simon Goodwin on SEN (30/5/22)
Clayton Oliver does part time Xbox playing.

Farewell Luke Jackson
I don't think that was ever a thing. This was based on a newspaper article from Canberra with no quotes from either manager or relative and some just ran with it. His parents are still living in Perth and both are still heavily involved with the East Fremantle Football Club.

Farewell Sam Weideman
He's contracted for another year.

Low Attendance
I'm not sure we've ever been a loud and delirious crowd. I was at last week's game against North and barely heard boo from us. North on the other hand were quiet loud but that was mainly due to the umpiring decisions going against them. The atmosphere for thr Carlton and Collingwood game yesterday was nuts..

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
Yeah look I thought Dunstan would have been a handy pick up for us from a depth perspective, but he really is one dimensional.. Yeah Goody and the coaching staff didn't have a great night in the coaching box unfortunate. People on here having their red and blue goggles on last week when trying to justify Melksham playing his role as a wingman last week have now gone missing or have remained quiet. He's been garbage this year and I honestly would have rather just given Oskar Baker a run against Freo just knowing that at least he tries to take the game on with his run and dash. Having Spargo on the other wing robbed us of his inside 50 pressure and clean delivering as well. I do get why they tried him there having already 3 smalls up forward in Pickett, Bedford and ANB.

Here we go....

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
I reckon we underestimated how big of a loss James Harmes was. Hes another big bodied midfielder that could have been swung into the midfield when it was evident Petracca was struggling with illness and had to play up forward. They tried Sparrow but he got a bit overwhelmed with it all. Harmes is at least an experienced solider who would have even done a lock down job as Brayshaw and Serong got on top of us around the clearances.

Majak was a late withdrawal out yesterday for Casey due to illness.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND: DANIEL TURNER
- CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Sydney
As much as Turner was close to BOG yesterday it was only his 3rd game back from injury. I would like to see him back up another performance like that in the VFL especially against a team with AFL listed KPF's. He definitely tracking in the right way though!- Welcome to Demonland Kynan Brown
- CASEY: Rd 10 vs FrankstonĀ
Hibberd looked a bit overweight which is as expected considering the recurring calf injuries would have impacted his ability to do much running over the past few months.- NON-MFC: Round 11, 2022
Yep. You don't get excuses from either unlike some club supporters..- CASEY: Rd 10 vs FrankstonĀ
Ellison has really impressed me. I've been a big wrap on this kid since watching him this year but Andy Moniz Wakefield has got huge upside. His so clean below his knees and rarely fumbles. His kicking skills are very very neat.- CASEY: Rd 10 vs FrankstonĀ
Daniel Turner is having one of the best all time games you'll see from a defender. Steven May like.- Farewell Luke Jackson
Young has just signed a 5 year contract extension this week.- Farewell Luke Jackson
I wouldn't say he's a dominant ruckman of the competition? Has never won a best and fairest nor has he ever been in any All Australian consideration as a ruckman. Hes a solid player who was recruited due to lack of opportunities at Sydney. Which makes me think that if you target the right ruckman out there that can come in and play a solid enough role then I think we would be fine. - CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Sydney
