TRAINING: Monday 23rd January 2023
Great reports @Wizard333 and @McQueen. Disappointing to hear about Laurie. Starting to have concerns considering he's a first round pick. I suppose you can't win them all. Also interested in your comment regarding Howes @McQueen. Having only seen limited vision of Howes he's the one player on the wheel list who intrigues. What makes you think he'll be a player? Athleticism? Good footy IQ. Howes excites me, but he's a mystery for me as well.

Bennell talking to a VFL Club about a return
He cost the club 50k for his absolute stupidity. You honestly think the club will want him back...?

2023 Injury List

- Pre-season Intensity
Would really liked to see Tomlinson trial as a tall high half forward. His endurance levels and work rate would easily blow up a lot of defenders which would be a huge strength to team structure.- Leadership and Stability
Is this in regards to the Viney co captain role??- Leadership and Stability

Why we ever re-signed a very injury prone Joel Smith to a new 2 year deal I'll never know.- 2023 Injury List

Thanks for thr report @Tough Kent. Was wondering how Dunstan and Ollie Sestan went?- Training and Trackwatching
- Daisy Pearce calls time on a stellar career
Agree wholeheartedly. The AFLM have a job and program to do. I'm sure behind closer doors there have been lots of hugs and kisses from our senior boys towards Daisy. Let's be honest, I highly doubt this would affect Daisy at all whether the boys were there or not.- Training and Trackwatching
Think those camps have been canned.- TRAINING: Wednesday 18th January 2023
Him and Sparrow are two of our most professional players at the footy club. Yze said in a Russell Robertson podcast 12 months in his time coaching at AFL (Hawthorn included) he hasn't seen two players who are so incredibly professional and diligent with their off field preparation.- Dynamic Ruck Duo Max & Brodie
- Best 22 for Round 1
Yeah I agree. To be honest I don't have much of a gauge on Howes. I saw bits of him at Casey but that was after his serious leg injury which really put him on the back foot. I'm guessing he's training as a wingman? Still think he'd be more suited to that Jack Gunstn type role up forward.- Best 22 for Round 1
Are you talking about Jordon here??- TRAINING: Wednesday 18th January 2023
Unreal training reports lads!- TRAINING: Wednesday 18th January 2023
Would love a progress update on Jefferson and Burgoyne who I believe is in full training?- Best 22 for Round 1
Yes Jordon is vanilla. I think that's why I preferred him playing more as an inside role as he did so well back in 2021. His hands are very clean with his tackling and enormous work rate to run both ways.- Best 22 for Round 1
I find Jordon has more strings to his bow and greater upside then Sparrow. Right now Sparrow has only shown he can be a bit player inside mid. Even when he was given greater opportunity as a starting mid against Port Adelaide when Viney was out he was underwhelming that game with a few poor turnovers. In my opinion Jordon is a better all round midfielder and adds versatility with his ability to play inside and out but also as a half back if needed. I know coaches absolutely love him but he's not in my best 22.- TRAINING: Friday 13th January 2023
I think Spargo needs a big 2023. He's the most vulnerable out of the forwards especially as Laurie and Chandler are breathing down his neck pretty closely. Personally thought he was disappointing last year alongside a few others as well.- TRAINING: Friday 13th January 2023
