  1. No I didn't mean you sorry, and I've gone back and edited that part.
  2. He's been a handful for the footy club and the players for the past couple of years. The club has gone way above and beyond more then anyone on the playing list. It's no wonder the players are completely fed up with him because he simply won't learn or take responsibility for his actions and behaviours. How about for once Oliver takes responsibility for his own actions and start acting like a grown adult for once in his life. He's 27, not an 18 year old kid. Paying a guy pretty much 1 million a year to take the absolute [censored] out of the system sums it all up. There is an absolutely no way anyone can accuse the footy club for its lack of support because if anything the club has supported him to the tilt. He literally had to live with the Gawns this year because the club cannot trust him off field.
  3. Sure. So what do Carlton get out of it then?
  4. Genuine laughing stock we are. Can't wait to go through another year of Clayton Oliver distraction and noise. Which player is on baby sitting duties next year? But you do you Melbourne.
  5. Haha well played!
  6. Shows up on mine.
  7. It's Clayton Oliver for sure. Only have to click on his name and it goes straight to his official insta profile.
  8. Cheers GD's 👏 On a side note, do you think we'll target any particular name to fill in some midfield depth?
  9. Can someone post a summary of the article please?
  10. Keen to hear @goodwindees thoughts in all of this.
  11. Way too completely miss a point and go off on some random tangent.
  12. Yeah nah that's not how it works. Secondly why on earth would he leave Geelong to come to a club that's a current rabble.
  13. Can someone post a summary if the article?
  14. 🤣 @SthSea22
  15. No. He's also in a joint business partnership alongside Greg Stafford and Jim Plunkett
  16. Oh please. Don't act like it's a solid rock hard leadership group, far from it. Under their watch there have been significant off field issues for the last couple of year. They absolutely need to take some sort of responsibility for the mess along with the football department as well.
  17. Show us.... 👀
  18. Maybe.. just maybe, this actually comes back on the Individual for once and not the club. Oliver is a bloody 27 year old grown adult. For once how about he takes responsibilities his own actions. The club literally had to move Oliver in with the Gawn family last year because of his off field issues. Sums it all up. The footy club have seriously thrown every ounce of support and bended over backwards for him to try and keep him on the narrow straight. I'm comfortable if the club wish to trade him. They've done everything they can. Geelong are not certainty to fix him. Jack Steven and Mitch Clark come to mind? Bailey Smith and Clayton Oliver in the one room on a Saturday night.. good luck.
  19. Well we are.. we have proven to do this ourselves. Preliminary final in 2018, super draft of Pickett, Jackson and Rivers in 2019, premiership in 2021.
  20. Correct, it won't fix all the issues but it'll be a big step forward at least from a culture perspective. We've been babysitting this guy for the best part of nearly 4 years. Club is way bigger then the individual. I would rather have a year next year of total reset then go through another year of noise and distraction around Oliver. Clubs have also shown that you can turn around fairly quickly through good drafting and trade. Collingwood, Geelong and Sydney have proven this.
