  1. Yep I thought he had a shocker as well.
  2. Great test coming up. I have no idea who will win. Absolutely we're capable of winning. We have a great deal of talent. Heat will be on if we lose. Football world will come down on us. They cant wait. We're never gonna get our respect until we win a flag. So for that reason, I can't wait to play the Bulldogs. Then the next team, then the next, then the next. Win 2 or 3 of them and we are the real deal. If not, the 'noise' will come. But theres nowhere to hide. Bring them all on. Lets just get it [censored] done.
  3. Perfectly sums up how [censored] in the head some AFL administrators are. Or to put it more politely, ill-equipped to be in their position. Bluffers.
  4. Thats exactly what they did. Thats why it looks [censored]. Said it before, the AFL, clubs efforts at producing quality, desirable merch is laughable. With the exception of meat cleavers, which are readily available.
  5. I love the Weid. 2018 Geelong final when he was in the open in the forward line, out the back, crowd saw it before the players did, WEEEEIIIIDD went the rumbling roar from the out of their minds faithful. He marked, and goaled. Rapturous! He has not excited me since though. Needs to bloody well mark the contested ball better. I cant help but think, and I don't like thinking it, i try to banish the thought, but sometimes theres a little bit of the 'Looks like tarzan...' going on for me. Brown will be back. Big rugged tasmanian should get a little [censored] off with his dropping and when he gets back in be bloody keen to do some damage. I want Weid, Jackson, Tmac, Brown and Big Maximillian in the same team. Lets just go [censored] giant and dominate. I'm no x's and o's man, so to the strategists out there is there at all a possibility that this could happen? Is too much speed/forward 50 defensive pressure and drive given up somewhere? Spell it out for me someone.
  6. And 1-2 decades behind in maturity.
  7. He's great. I love him. Just impatient for him to start hitting the scoreboard and tidying up his kicking. He's a *ucking beast however. And he's ours.
  8. Cracking comment.
  9. I'm rolling thunder, pouring rain I'm coming on like a hurricane My lightning's flashing across the sky You're only young, but you're gonna die I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives Nobody's putting up a fight I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell I'm gonna get ya, Satan get ya Hells bells Hells bells, you got me ringing Hells bells, my temperature's high Hells bells GO DEES
  10. Not a fan of this thread sorry. Still too early for any backslapping for anyone at the club. Although I agree we do indeed look a different beast this year, and the results bear this out, I also recognise there is so much more opportunity for us to balls things up.
  11. I just love the menace in the words, the thumping riffs, the base and drums. Turn it up as loud as possible. Run through brick wall stuff.
  12. he would say, 'yeah look we're incredibly happy with Jakes contribution to the Melbourne Footy Club. He's put in an incredible amount of work coming off an injury affected preseason and its just been incredible to be incredibly incredible. Come on Dees today. Tough game. Should have them covered though. You'd think. I'll lose my [censored] again tonight if we end up 8-0.
  13. we have one. hells bells. I'm rolling thunder, pouring rain I'm coming on like a hurricane My lightning's flashing across the sky You're only young, but you're gonna die I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives Nobody's putting up a fight I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell I'm gonna get ya, Satan get ya
  14. i liked it. Made sense. Interesting he points out how they achieved what they did without any infrastructure resembling a professional club. Now we have this, unlike any other time. Happy days.
  15. Calm down chook. Its all good mate. In fact it is as good as it can get. The ball bounced off browns chest three times on the lead. He takes them and he looks like the greatest fit of all time. Im wrapped with the win. Lots of players down. ANB and Melksham both useless. Every touch ANB had ended negatively. Every one. almost every one actually Jackson will tear a game apart soon. Young bloke must be getting tired you'd think. Kossie is indeed a bit special. We missed VIney a lot. Ugly win, but nothing wrong with that. Young blokes carrying the old blokes. Can you believe it?
  16. Just watched spargo interview with our man down there at the MFC. Bloody hell, what an easy to listen to well spoken young bloke. Geez that gives me even further confidence in the young man and the whole group.. Im really excited. So enjoying this run of form
  17. Pffft... Jones is a champion. People know that. Has as much respect in the footy world as the next man/woman.
  18. montagna (who is a big rap for us) made reference to the fact that King told him off air that Melbourne 'WILL' let him down. [censored]. Head.
  19. My 11 and 8 year old boys nicknamed ANB - Alex Nearly Bullen, based on the fact of watching him for many years and being frustrated at his impact. As in he 'nearly' did good things. After another good game by Nibbler on the weekend my young fella said I have a new name for Nibbler: Alex New-Bullen. Cracked me up. As for whats changed as per this thread: Im gonna say the input from premiership experienced coaches. I have been a goodwin critic, but he's obviously smart enough to employ these blokes so fair play to him. Cant argue with 6-0. Still cant believe Im writing that.
  20. Well, F$%K me.
  21. Gus is an absolute A-Grade footballer. Playing his role and playing it well.
  22. he runs around like he 'knows' he belongs. he wants to impact. he doesn't care its afl senior footy.
  23. well said Swooper.
