According to 'Richo', 'Shane is...looking forward to getting stuck into his rehab'. So hard to imagine that to be the case about such a long process, and at 29. So much credit to him if, on 13 Feb 2026, he's back where he was on that day a year earlier. Hopefully Spargo and McAdam have the sort of relationship that the former's 2024 experience, and his getting back to where he is now, can support the latter through 2025.

It's fascinating to observe in this thread the phenomenon of distinct positions continuing to be presented, each continuing to be unaffected by the ones from which it differs. 'This is what I think. I am immune to what you think.' FWIW, though, I'm in the 'I-don't/can't-know-what-he's-thinking-now-but-fact-is-he's-contracted-largely-happy-and-pretty-sure-we're-pretty-good-negotiators' camp.
