He's getting the full experience. Must really feel as if he's arrived! Strawbs O'Dwyer recounted on The Front Bar that he was suspended in his first game then again in his return game!

Thanks. I was there, too, but missed it. Anyone else?

    Any video to post?
  5. You're saying we're going to lose on Sunday? We win and we're '0', therefore, I guess. You know; the one before '1'(*) (* AFL patent pending)
  6. So many memes! I just couldn't decide!
  7. Yep; I was right, @M_9! I may delete it from my vocab now...😄
  8. Not me. I'll look it up! (I think I can guess its tenor, knowing my boss...)
  9. While they're all at you, 640, forgive me for looking forward to later in the season, when the heat becomes colder. Is that your boot I feel as we see myself out?
  10. 😊 Had a boss who said 'exackery'. A very absorbable word. Got me.
  11. Adams' apples? p.s. Yep. Though leads to discussion about whose place he takes...
  12. ...and turned down a $10m(?), 7-year(?) deal to leave?
  13. Kudos to the AFL staffer who chose this to be the vid immediately following the hilarious predictions, given where we sat in those predictions: "Can the Dees push for a premiership in 2021? "Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin outlines his plans for the Dees in 2021" Check it out in DubDee's link.
  14. @Demonland, Good on you, Guys! Big job taken on (yet again!) on our behalves. I hope Demonlanders continue to value and respect all this.
  15. @ManDee, check out the Club website Thursday practice gallery. One H.Petty looking very happily involved.
  16. ...that occupy much space herein: https://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/1725753/goody-tells-all-ask-me-anything?videoId=1725753&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1741161600001 Jefferson will play (at times). At full forward. Goodwin will coach from both box and boundary line. Many things will be different, play-wise (though subtly so?) Aaaand... Some more fodder for the 'Nicknames' file!
  17. When you say 'song'... (Forgive me, for I am of advanced years)
  18. Patrick Dangerfield would like all 18 teams competing at once, on one day every, say, four years, first goal wins.
  19. I'm surprised this hasn't had any other scrutiny on here! What's he going to do from the other quadrant? Are defenders only going to have to defend 5-and-a-half forwards?(*) And he won't have the goal umps on his side, having to judge where the ball is as it goes across the goal line, high and curling. (* Though maybe it's a cunning plan to have them doing just that?...)
  20. OK, so that's The Age and The Herald Sun. Looking forward now to The Saturday Paper, The New York Times, Pravda and The Asahi Shimbun predictors. Striving for more certainty.
  21. He's still young. I'm thinking one of those leafy little suburbs in the inner south-east: nice walk to that ripe-for-community/sporting-development precinct.
  22. ...on the Surf Coast. Double uh-oh!...
  23. Went home 'early' after the last Jackson goal, and just now watched those last 4 minutes. Locked in our half, and goals peppered and often nearly salted! Confidence-maintaining. Phew! However, Disco's locking himself into one half of the forward line: he's going to have trouble bending them around the corner from the other half! Unless he's ambidextrous?
  24. Helps answer my question over on the 'Welcome Jonesy coach' thread. Thanks 👍
