The game didn't go to script but nevertheless was an entertaining one. Hutchins and Bugg mitigated some of the damage early on with Kent coming in to clean up at the end. It was a game where no one really played 4 quarters but Casey kept working hard throughout to overcome Sandringham.

I thought Hunt worked his way into the game as it went along. It looks like he's got his pace back and got some good deltoid gains since we have last seen him.

My favourite part of the game was Oliver lurking in the goal square during the 3rd quarter. It was nice to see someone there behind the tall forwards. Gawn and Angus keep killing it and I'm starting to wonder if Fritsch will become a superstar of the game?

As a Casey supporter, it was nice to see JKH get a game with Melbourne after all his hard work at Casey. I wasn't overly impressed with him today but would like to see him keep his place and tighten up his game.

After years of lazy players at Melbourne, it's great to watch Bayley Fritsch who never gives up.
