He doesnt get enough matches to build some form. Coaching panel needs to put some faith in him and let him get beaten every now and then. I think the finals are out of reach due to our poor %. We would not only have to win 12 of our next 14, but we would have to dish out a few floggings to bring our % up. Screw finals, i would rather test the entire list and see who has a future at the club. Then use our bottom position to get a good position in the draft.

This game isnt much to smile about. Some of our future players are trying to stand tall against the best side in the comp. Lots of negatives, but the few positives are worth smiling about.

If the coach goes, so will 5-6 players. If the coach stays, a cleanout may not happen until the season after. Danner is not the only guy under the pump at the club. I can think of 10 players that could be delisted or traded if the demons fall to 15th or 16th by round 22. IMO danners will be given a final year to take this list to a flag. If he fails, he will be chopped as soon as the season ends.

Dees are an outside chance. IF WE GET UP (seems unlikely) people will once again we weary of the red and blue. People seem to forget that we have been crippled with injuries this year. With some strength back in the side, we are capable of winning games, including on the road against the weagles. If the weagles show up thinking they will win it, they will dop this game to us mark my words. The weagles MUST play thier best footy. I have had to put upwith the whole ALWYN IS BETTER crap all year at work. Have people lost their long term memory??? Aaron Davey is a GUN, he is better the ALWYN buy a long shot. Cast back over last season, davey was second to none in running players down. Now its all about ALWYN. I wish alwyn well, but people have to wake up and remember that there is ONLY ONE FLASH IN THE AFL-AARON DAVEY.

I have to agree with YM. I think we are a good chance to beat the roos. If we play 4 quarters, we could smash them. The roos will go in as HOT favs, so it is a great chance for the dees to sneak up and give them a wake up call. We are getting some names back, the dees are no longer the automatic rightoff they were 2 weeks ago. CARN THE DEES

If he could hold a friggin mark his fortunes would change. He is all at seas. Danners loves him so he will be given a few chances to rebound. He has the ability, but time is running out no doubt about it. Bruce when 100% is VERY athletic and could out do many players. godders does not suprise me, he is a solid run with player.

We will never be able to afford either of these players. The trade demands for either will be off the planet. Not to mention the amount of cap space needed. The only way we will get either of these players is if we finish last and one of these players walks out of their respective clubs. This is unlikely as both are happy at their clubs and Richmond are WAY TOO horrible to finish on top of us!

Brock on the bench does not thrill me. The means if he plays he will be JUST scraping in for "100%".

Dunn has found some extra speed this year. Last year he was a bit of a plodder, in 2007 he has founf some pace. He has looked good since coming back from injury, and could be used on the wing. When robbo gets back from injury, Dunn could very well find himself on the wing. I am all for moving players around this year. The season is almost gone. Lets see who can play where so we can have a better crack at 2008.

We were one good player off a win. If rivers or petterd, mclean , bartram or even a fit byron had played, we would have won! Good to see some heart form the boys. Nice to see trapper, bruce and flash find some footy.

OK, Before I get started, I AM AWARE that we have little to NO depth at FF. I am a tad concerned that neita is not up to it at the moment. He has tried over the past few weeks and shown some glimpses of gold, but overall he has been sluggish and underdone. It isn't so much form that is causing this, a combination of form and niggles are causing the great man to be beaten by lesser opponents. A week to sit and recover could be the answer. We have NO CHANCE against the eagles next week. Instead of sending him on a plane to the west we could be having him sitting out for ONE week so he can come back stronger. I am all for it. We will be losing our best forward, but the gamble could be worth it if he comes back the week after closer to 100%. Any thoughts? Is it feasible?

He was spent, and should have been resting. He ran his guts out and needed to come off. That is why he was staring at the bench, his face told the story. If flash hadn't have played, we would have been spanked. He was GOLD today. He didn't cost us the match...he kept us in it all day long.

The dees were unlucky today. The way the game was going the dogs could have easily kicked one against the flood anyway. The dogs have a freakish ability to break down a flood. I like that the dees played man on man. Sure, it MAY have cost us 4 points, but there is no proof of this. Good effort from the boys, just not yet good enough to walk away with a win. ND did what he could today. Not his fault, but he will be under the pump if we are 0 and 10.

He played well did young Col. If he can have regular returns like todays return, i would be very pleased. Interesting to note that the #1 pick of that draft adam cooney has not been all that good lately. Colin was a good selection a pick 3, i will never question that move. The kid has a bright future, whether he is an future all australian or just a good footballer doesnt matter, what matters is that he is in red and blue and loving it. He will give us a good 150+ games. Expectations are a tad high for him, but he will develop and come close to meeting those expectations. Good game from number 12 today.

Pretty good effort considering west averages 32 disposals a game. I though Bell was equally as important shutting down his opponents. Did not hear what happened to Godders, but from what i heard there was plenty of behind the play argy-bargy going on. Godders got up, so all is good. Godders is playing well enough to keep his spot every week.

Leo barrys mark won them a grandfinal. Good defenders are worth their weight in gold. Carroll. Rivers, Bell and Whelan are very valauble to the MFC. They may not poll many votes (rivers seems to go unnoticed) but they are the reasons why the demons win games. Petterd, Frawley and Warnock could be gold also. Our assets look good. Taggers are handy. Bartram and godders can run with and shut down the best.

Yeah, Godders has shown some hustle over the last 2 weeks. Credit to him. If batram were playing in the side as a tagger, would Godders still be given a chance? Bartram is a stopper also. Both do good jobs. I think godders is playing for his spot at the club this season. And so far he is doing well. As for being in our best 22 as our number one stop player- we will have to wait and see. Bartram for me.
