Carrol could still be traded. Cant seem Miller being moved, and fergo PJ and those sorts dont do much for the market. If any deal is to be made it would most likely be Carrol being moved, or a late pick 4th rounder being moved for a fringe player elsewhere.

SURELY they have not given up trading Carrol already! Given the hawks "DESPERATION" for a backman, I would have though carrol would have been an option. I am still suprised carlton has not gone after Carrol. They could on trade thornton for Boyle, and still have a solid backman in carrol.

Wow, Travis is no longers ours. It is sad to see him, go. His departure signals the start of the rebuilding process at the MFC. Pick 14,mmmm, thought we could get more for Trapper than that. Bargain for the lions. Pick 14 was the same pick we got for W##wodin, If i am not mistaken, and that pick landed us Daniel Bell. Another Bell player would be handy, but a superstar would be better.

I find it concering that soooo many eagles names are floating around in trade talks. Sure, I think graham would be a handy pickup, but would they really let him go? Judd, Chick (possibly cousins) are history, so spots and chances will open up. Jones also hung up the boots, so 3-4 spots have just opened up. Unless these players want out, the eagles would not move them unless they get a good deal. Love it to happen, just cannot see a deal being struck.

Hmm, if we got wood AND meeson, one would assume that the dees would HAVE to consider trading one of our current listed ruckman. Jamar just inked a deal, so he isnt able to be placedo n the market for 12 months. So that leaves White and PJ. Would the saints bite on White? You bet your bank balance they would! If Wood and Meeson come our way, the dees would be stupid not to float white and/or PJ. I can see Meesen coming, but Wood going to the Woods.

The Adelaide crows would be spewing over the loss of a 20c piece! Seriously, Meeson has done nothing over there, and has made it clear he wants to move on. Meeson is a good idea for us, but the crows need to get what they can for him, and a pick in the late 30s is fair enough for a guy who has played 1 senior game of footy. Doubt Kennedy is goin anywhere, and if he is I cant see how it would be the dees. I still maintain that Carlton will make a play for Carroll. More so is the thornton deal is made. Carroll and Riley are close.

From the eagles? I would take Beau Waters+pick 20 for trapper. Or if they were game, Darren Glass+pick 20 for Trapper. Doubt they would move either players, but they can both defend and god knows we need some bloody defenders!

Pick 4 is a decent pick. I think there will be a good player on hand, pcik 4 wont land us the best kid in the draft, but should provide us with a solid player for 10 years. Another Pav would be FANTASTIC

The blues will msot likely trade thornton for hawthorns Boyle, and give nthe history between mark rily and Chopper carroll, Rily would lobby to get chopper to carlton. I think we could deal with the blues, but we will not be getting kennedy.

I could live with that. I love trapper, but an early pick and rhyce shae could be useful (provided that shaw learns how to kick!) If trapper was in brisbane, this means 2 things. 1- he is willing to be dealt, 2, the deal is close to happening.

Rivers is worth a top 5 pick. The dees would never move him that cheaply. "Tell him hes dreaming"

Brissie had plenty of openings in their best 22. The fact he couldn't crack the side on a regular basis means that he is not going to cut it. Would rather take a chance on a late pick or rookie than Hadley.

WCE moved heaven and earth to get him there, becasue that is where he wanted to be. With no Judd hogging the spotlight, I would think things would only get better for him over at WC.

"IF" this Tj to WCE rumor were true, why would we be happy when word is that Sydney is offering a higher pick? Pick 11 vs pick 15. It would seem more likely that the swans chase him, as half of their list is now over 50! I would take pick 15 for trapper. I would love to get pick 15 and Beau Waters for Trapper- but I am dreaming.

Word is pick 9 is on the table for Blake. If they can get pick 9 for Blake, they will take it and Re-sign King. If the Blake deal falls through, King is as good as gone. I think if we are after Meeson, Getting king also is going a tad overboard. Our ruckstocks would then be White, jamar, Pj, Messon, King.

Brad Symes is a good enough player, but pick 21?? Come on guys! We got Byron pickett for pick 28. Surely he isn't in the same ballpark as byron. Port are interested in Mcmahon from the doggies, so trading symes would make sense. 3rd rounder or later for Symes, and pick up meeson via the PSD. Keep pick 21. As for miller and Trapper, for pick 11 and 44, that would be tempting! Good call on Symes guys, good to know he has some love (but not for pick 21!)

The crows got good deals on Mattner and Hudson. I think the dees should not fall the same way, and stick to giving up a 3rd rounder no earlier. Even that is generous for a guy who has only played one game when the club was short of ruckman

Ward, Brown dog and Bizz are now out of the picture. Cj has a coach who will be pushing young talent. Seems like the best thing to do is hold on to him, he has the talent to be a player, now with a chance at building form and a coach who has some faith, things could turn around for CJ. Keep him.

Sydney still have a realistic shot at top 4 if they can pick up a few key players. Would be wise for them to keep bolton AND try to go after a travis type. Given CAC and Baileys statements, it would be suprising for a 28 year old to make the move to the dees. I think bolton is great, but i just cant see it happening.
