Chip showed us enough to make us htink he will play the season out in defence. As for Carroll, he will also play the year out. The two in defence plus the majestic Rivo give us some chance (slight) at shutting down opposition forwards. Leo Barry? I think if he could be that sort for the dees we will have drafted well.

Hi Guys, I am a Narre Warren Resident, which is part of the city of Casey. I think I am about 20-25mins from Casey Fields. Not sure if it is a GOOD move, but a move is needed so we can have our own facilities. It would be great to have the dees out this way, I just feel the move is more made out of desperation rather than an actual desire to be based here. It is 40+ kms from the CBD, and i am sure many players reside in the CBD. Quite a trip for them to make just to train. If it helps the club I am all for it.................................or is this just a band-aid move??

I fear the situation will continue to fester in the upcoming days/weeks.

Fact- Carlton are still Shyte We will find out a little about the dees this weekend, and I am tipping we are not as shyte as many AFL supporters think.

No doubt we are in massive trouble. It is funny how kids react to "superstars". I have seen so many little bastards running around with #23 Hawthorn Jumpers that it makes me sick (Buddy Franklin for the viewers at home). An Iconic superstar gets kids on board, so does wins. We have Neither. We need a stronger board, and some marketable kids. Which brings me to my next point. Should the dees just blood kids all season long and see what happens? Could set us up in the future, call this season a write off (unless we string together 5 in a row it is a write off anyway) and hope we land a marketable kid/ groom our own marketbale kids (morton and Aussie seem likely types) for the future.

Would Argus REALLY consider the role?? He is a BIG game player, could only do good things IF his heart was in it. As for Jim, he is a pretty smart guy. I had the pleasure of speking with him last year, very smart man, well presented and is DEEs to the bone. Argus has much better connections, which we could use at our club.

70K? Does that include split personalities?? The Carlton fans will be out in droves, still cannot see a crowd getting over 55k. Dees supporters are a rare enough breed when we are a top 4 team. We are rubble at the moment, so ony the die hards/sadists (yes, that includes my goodself) will be there. 70k is out of the question. 50 would be a good turnout. Fingers crossed for the club that we do get 50+, the funds will come in handy, as the membership numbers are not really going anywhere fast.

My FAV player of all time was Yeater!! I was a young kid in the late 80s, and love Yaters work in the defensive end. I still wear #8 to this day whenever I play football out of respect for Graeme Yeats. You don't see many smart blue collared footballers these days. Football brains are a thing of the past. Yeater was not the best player in terms of skills and speed, however his brain, heart and courage made him a player to admire.

He has an injury, so he is off light. On the upside, his record is now shocking, any further hits and he will get the book thrown at him.

I am always there. It is go to the footy or get stuck doing house work (what would you rather??) Should get45-50, 40k being carlton. They can smell the back-to-back wins, and given they have had little to smile about over the past few seasons, they will all come out of the woodwork for this match. The Blues faithful are already calling out a 60 point win at my workplace (all of a sudden there are "CARLTON" supporters at work!) CARN THE DEES!!!

If the season ended today, I would want a refund on my membership!!! I want more games to watch, regardless of how bad we are. Watching the kids develop gives me hope that we will indeed win a flag ONE DAY. This generation of kids makes me happy in my pantaloons. It is not like the "develop the kids" back in the steven armstrong days, the kids we have are ACTUALLY going to be good players!!!

Easy, Cale Morton has showed more than any of the past 3 years draft picks. And he is only a rake with 4 games under is his belt, give him 10 KGS and 50 games and he should be something special. Nice to get some positive vibes back in the place!

Why would Jonathan Brown want to come to the MFC? What do we have to offer him. The captaincy? A rebuilding list that wont be ready to win a flag until he is on the verge of retirement?? If it comes down to money (ala Judd) the Magpies will get him. They have cap room to burn~~~~ Don't get me wrong, would love big JB, but i cannot see it happening.

Could be the coach. Bails is a hard man, and perhaps Juice does not feel the love with Bails at the helm. If any of our young brigade of players has taken a step back this year, I would have Juice at the top of my list. 2008 should have been his year, but has done nothing in the 1s or 2s. FFS, he took mark of the year last year and other supporters were becoming green with envy of this new KKP prospect! Since then, a big fat NOTHING from juice! I am not sure where his head is at, but I can tell you where it will be if he does not turn it around. On the chopping block trade week! I am hoping Juice can pull it together soon, with an ageing forward line, the forwardline is begging for the next Generation to take over. I hope Juice comes back soon........................

Wheatley deserves a spot. He is not our best player, but he has worked his bum off this year and gets the nod. Too early to be carving the axe through the team. Making 4/5 changes a week hurts team balance. make 3 changes, cut the 3 who are performing least (Sadly Neita is one of those 3). The other 2 is up for debate, could be 2 of 10 players!
