Probably paid slightly overs for Lever but the rest of the period was fine. I don't think trading Watts will come back to hurt us (I still wish him all the best). If we find a couple of gems with our 2nd rounders it will obviously help.

Jordan Houlahan from Sturt would be a great pick up, great small forward option with skills galore.

Freo "won" it for me. Port did ok but Im not convinced about Motlop and Watts working on the same forward line, Rockliff will be very good for them. Unfortunately Essendscum did quite well this week.

I remember him playing for Woodville before the year he joined the Dees. He Kicked 10 goals in a half and it was the best invidiual football I have ever seen. Look forward to hearing it.

When you consider Stringer went for 25 and 30 we got fair value for Watts. As for Lever im backing him to become the best defender weve had for a long long time. I agree re: Balic, im not getting to excited about him either. Overall I would give us a 7/10.

I would be happy to trade 29 and 36 (or 47) for Kennedy if by some miracle Carlton cannot get their act together and he is desperate to leave GWS.

I think he will be ok. He has had a horror start to his career, but from what I have heard from my mates in Perth he can seriously play. Happy to have him on board!

Watts was never the star we hoped for but he played his role and was the best user of the ball in the team. Watts was a scapegoat from day 1, never forgot how we pumped in up as the Messiah before his first game on QB. Maybe if his team mates shown more ticker and flew the flag instead of letting him get belted from pillar to post early on he would of turned out a different player. We havent handled this situation well.

We agree to disagree im sorry. He had a very good 2016 and half of 2017. If you are prepared to forgive his post injury form this season, he played some very good footy.

Outside of the 2nd half of this year he has been one of our best players of the last 2 years. He is one of the best kicks in the team and when he is on we are a better team for it. Exactly how is this a good trade? To borrow a pun I think he will "light is up" at Port, can easily kick 30 goals.

After watching Lever life most of this year I think its a fair trade, maybe slightly overs but that's life.

Ive been watching paint dry for the last 2 days, this has been more interesting than trade period.
