  1. Some poor skills in the 2s. Tomlinson is a mile off a senior spot, Tmac is even a better option down back.
  2. Watching Eddie’s son Xander read the story on the news was a treat to watch…
  3. Disposal is an issue. Can’t remember the game this year, but streaming forward with Oliver clear and he handballed behind him and the opposition went on to score. Summed his last half of the year up. He is an ‘almost’ player.
  4. 90% of what has been said on this thread has gone over my head.

I’d love to see if on our list. Half back would replace Hunt nicely.
  6. Could see Freo missing, Pies also. Port could improve quite a bit and still not make it. More of a post trade observation on others who have improved their lists.
  7. I would say absolutely yes…. But… As we know premierships require a lot of things to click and fit players is one. Do we have the depth, I’d argue we run a bit thinner than some. We certainly don’t expose enough depth players to see if they meet the standard, this will need to change. Port, Bulldogs, Tigers, Brisbane will all improve next year. We need some growth from below to feature on the last game in September.
  8. Hunter, McRae and the Bont always made me nervous against the Bulldogs. Now only the 2 to deal with.
  9. Is it all over now… or are the AFL giving clubs an extra 3 hours to complete deals like last year?
  10. It’s nice of GWS to continue to offer to incubate players for other clubs. Can they develop a key defender for when May retires.

Stengle was a pretzel- no way Geelong do as well this year without him. Understand it’s a lesser risk, but fortunate favours the brave and we need improvement in our forward half.

Are we making a play at him? He would be unbelievable if we could straighten him out.
  13. The good news is, we will win next year.. take it to the bank!!
  14. Will Chris Scott celebrate by finally washing his hair?
  15. They will.. it will be called the good bloke award
  16. On another note, why do all the Primo ads show people not eating their hotdogs or produce….? Lots of groaning, but no ingestion
  17. We certainly need more active small forwards and flankers. Close, Guthrie and Stengle look incredible at ground level. They are always at the right spot and clean
  18. At least BT is ruining the match day experience for Cats fans like he did for us last year.
  19. Well.. when you put it that way..
  20. Not worth a mid 2nd round pick and $500k per year in my eyes. We need a hybrid ruck/forward, not another tap ruckman.
  21. Not sure how much more talent they can cram in. Draft will see them brimming. Beside MCSTAY is there any spillage?
  22. Might be ‘fork in it’ time for Tom.
  23. Don’t watch it and haven’t done so for 15 years.
  24. I’m a Terang man.. Koroit are a great club in a struggling one powerful league.
  25. A few things I’ve seen this year; 1) we are not as sure defensively which has meant midfielders are working harder in defence to cover. 2) We cannot mark the ball in our forwardline, so the small forwards are constantly moving- they don’t get a spell and as a result get more fatigued. We seem to lose structure and our small forwards are too often caught in the back half. 3) We just can’t turn the ball over in our forward half and our pressure drops off. 4) Our inside to spread midfield work is off. Sloppy handballs leads to too many players going for the same ball.
