Hate to say it, but Ralphy generally has good mail.

The notion of taking your eyes off the ball is a joke. He was 10m away when he looked to see where the player was. He then tried to connect with the footy. If taking your eye off the ball is the trigger for suspension- how far back can you go? 20m? 50m?
  3. Thanks for posting Dazzle.. worth it to hear Browny pronounce “Tribuneral”
  4. Didn’t watch the game, so only going off other peoples points, but I agree Petty is a much better backman and critical to our defensive structure. May is badly out of form this year and from all reports had another poor game- would it be too outrageous for May to play forward for a few weeks? He is good in the air and would provide an option, plus physicality and pressure. Brown and Shaq do not bring enough pressure which is the key reason for Petty being preferred. Any thought on this?
  5. Legend Binman.. MAFS can wait. You have sold me on the review, now can’t wait for the sequel.
  6. Read one page of the postgame and it felt a bit like a train wreck. Will see how it goes tomorrow after 6 Beroccas
  7. Didn’t watch the game due to an event. Should I give the replay a miss?
  8. Gee this is the worst defending I’ve seen from a Casey team in many a year. Lost their DNA a bit this year from games I’ve seen.
  9. Charlie Cameron is a toss
  10. I think Fritta has always shown intensity. Maybe not manic chasing and tackling- but when the ball is in his area he is on the move, creates space and hit the packs when the ball is kicked in long. Maybe what I have seen from Jefferson is he appears a bystander. Didn’t say he won’t make it, but when his forward craft looks to be lacking and his willingness to be involved isn’t there, he looks a way off.
  11. Was going to ask the same question. Have seen Jefferson on TV a few games and looks at a glance to have low intensity. Might be wrong, but to my eye he has a long way to go.
  12. Quality individual, seems like a real good human.. Happy for him to be part of our club
  13. I know this is not ground breaking stuff, but the pies supporters are next level. Every time the camera cut to the crowd, middle fingers a plenty.. Commodore circle work tonight & Woodstock bourbon cans for that lot.
  14. Still worried about how we handle ground balls in our back half.. we just cannot stop the opposition. Wins wallpaper cracks.
  15. Inability to defend the ground ball..
  16. Gee he looked good on the weekend and covers both ends of the ground which we missed against the Gliders
  17. One thing that is stark late last year and this year is how easy sides can get inside 50 by switching the ball. 2021 our zone was so good, that we moved in formation, now it is a real issue. Team defence is a mile off. Hope things can change, but we are not playing an exciting brand of footy.
  18. All will be playing Monday I would say.
  19. Bowey was poor, but we can’t drop him on that performance alone. I’d move him forward to cover Spargo.
  20. Hard to see another poor performance like this next week.. but certainly some players need to go out. Petty back forward- created a contest late. In- Lever, Hibberd, Brown. Out- Spargo, McDonald and Tomlinson. Bowey to play Spargos role. He was putrid tonight Bowser.
  21. Except he was worse than both of them
  22. I think our zone needs work.. our position is a mile off. Couldn’t get to the drop of the ball.
  23. Have we seen the best of May?
  24. I think I read or heard that he is only meeting family in Adelaide this weekend during the festival of BS round. Believe he didn’t want to talk contracts during his suspension as he wanted to focus on getting fit and planning his return.
  25. Umpiring has been carp so far this weekend.
