PREGAME: Rd 10 vs Yartapuulti
Will be a good watch on Salem. I trust the clubs judgement, but he was so out of touch last year when back from injury. Feel he needs a run in the VFL, but we will see. Love the idea of Rivers in the centre more, so if Salem offers that option, then I’m comfortable. TMAC while limited, offers more forward pressure than BB, rain and slippery conditions also favour him. Okay ins I guess.

Where's everyone going to watch Friday night's match?
Vanilla Porter is nice or the pale ale, with a Lamb or prawn pizza.. Last time I was there, I just sat down to see Viney fall across Gawns knee.. hoping for a better result this weekend.

PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Didn’t watch the game, so only going off other peoples points, but I agree Petty is a much better backman and critical to our defensive structure. May is badly out of form this year and from all reports had another poor game- would it be too outrageous for May to play forward for a few weeks? He is good in the air and would provide an option, plus physicality and pressure. Brown and Shaq do not bring enough pressure which is the key reason for Petty being preferred. Any thought on this?

CASEY: Rd 07 vs Gold Coast Suns
Gee this is the worst defending I’ve seen from a Casey team in many a year. Lost their DNA a bit this year from games I’ve seen.

CASEY: Rd 06 vs Box Hill Hawks
I think Fritta has always shown intensity. Maybe not manic chasing and tackling- but when the ball is in his area he is on the move, creates space and hit the packs when the ball is kicked in long. Maybe what I have seen from Jefferson is he appears a bystander. Didn’t say he won’t make it, but when his forward craft looks to be lacking and his willingness to be involved isn’t there, he looks a way off.

Was going to ask the same question. Have seen Jefferson on TV a few games and looks at a glance to have low intensity. Might be wrong, but to my eye he has a long way to go.
