Great suggestion- Yes he should be managed this week. Smith to play back to cover him. Gawn out, Grundy in and Viney rested- Sparrow if fit to come in. JJ and Harmes both lucky to survive till Clarry is back. With our forwardline functioning I see Trac almost 100% mid time.

Smith is a 3rd forward option. He needs Brown as the decoy. His pressure, tackling is an asset. I’d like him to start and Trac move into the midfield till Oliver is back. Our forwardline looks okay with Melky and Kozzie hitting some form. Plus Richmond are JVRs bunnies!

Watched the game from behind the goals at the punt road end and felt Jordan struggled, would like Smith to start, maybe Jordan sub. Might have missed some good work of Jordan- so will watch replay first before locking that in.

Next week changes- Over the shoulder no look handball (looking at you Hunter) Was hard to really sum up that game watching it live. I think considering our forward half connection was average, we still nearly put on 100 which was pleasing.

I don’t mind it to create some more interest. It could be 8v9 or more depending on number of teams on similar points, but seperated by %. While they are at it, they could also revise a better system for the bottom 4 to receive the 1st draft pick. Sick of watching the bottom teams stink it up. Perhaps the last 2 weeks they play a round Robin for access to the best pick. Finishing up with the final game of the wildcard round.

I think you need to realise that commentators barrack for the team that are trailing, or the underdog.. it is as simple as that. Commentators loved us in 2021. Like fans, we hate seeing the same sides win. Geelong get a lot of love as a result of their ability to stay relevant and rebuild.

I’d give Petty a rest and bring in Tomlinson or Smith depending on matchups. Otherwise no change
