We tried the sub rule 10 years ago and it failed and now they go again. Injuries are part of the game and play into the theatre of sport, overcoming adversity etc. not to mention messing with the fitness of a bloke on the verge of the 22 who could be playing in the 2's keeping fitness and form up

Kozzi and Jackson are not replaceable as such imo. We lose pressure up fwd and we lose everything LJ brings uniquely. no offence to Sparrow or a Petty but the lose is felt less imo still should beat the squalks though

Hawks have beaten 2 top 4 teams from last year and lost to Carlton by a point. Clearly they can bring a challenge to us. To me, they are a bigger challenge than the teams that park the bus and don't attack. They may unlock a weakness by actually trying to win the game

what makes you think he is under-appreciated? he is massively rated within the club and by supporters you don't start a succession plan after you win your first flag in 57 years in the words of Forrest Gump - I am not a smart man but I do know that (not sure I got the quote right)

I reckon between Weed/BB up front and Petty/Smith back we have plenty that can take the odd tap. TMac, BB and Weed is too tall and lacking agility/mobility imo
