For those saying Langdon is the better player and/or wingman, here are some 2021 stats: langdon averaged +3 in disposals and had Gus cover in rebound 50s and goals inside 50s and score involvements were even Gus had Langdon covered for tackles, clearances, and goal assists they are only a month apart in age so are an interesting comparison. Obviously very different players but I would grade their input as fairly even in 2021 with Gus edging him based on the GF performance.

Angus has another quality 6+ years in him. I honestly think his best footy is ahead of him. He is so smart and brave. Can play in multiple positions. I don’t think he is irreplaceable but we should everything we can to keep him. He is a core team member and so important to our culture

Angus loves and the club and wants to stay. However he is 26yo and this is his last big contract negotiation. I think he wants a long term deal and he may have been offer for eg 3 years at 500k. I reckon he backs himself to have his best year yet and let his football do the talking so he can bank a long term deal him leaving would be a major blow to our team and culture.

You need a few things - firstly be a bloody good player, play in your first season (usually) and have a tough as nails body that will stand up for over a decade Oliver will get there for sure (barring any really serious injuries) Trac/Gus/Vines etc will get to ~250 but time will run out. Trac the best chance if he can play fwd late in his career Then I would back Rivers to be next (very early call I know). So consistent, half back you can avoid the hits somewhat and played most games straight away

A lot of people I know are not going out like usual to any events for fear of catching covid (I don't share this concern). People are avoiding pubs, let alone 50K crammed together! If the weather is nice, I think we could get 45-50K but that's it. people have to work, travel from the country. wednesday is a crazy day to play footy I'll be there though!

It is hopefully looking the season will start in a decent timeframe for Covid - barring any new strains. The worst of Omicron is over in the south-east, hospitalisation finally falling. so by end of March we could be looking good

Paxy was great last year! Won our BnF too. Not sure where you are coming from but don’t agree she has the most touches today. A bit rusty this year so far but still quality

Two games in inner city Melbourne and now a ‘home’ game at Casey. I would love to go to more games but I’m not going out of Melbourne to watch us. We need to find a home venue in Melbourne ASAP.

I hope the online trolls are enjoying watching Harris go about her business. "Overrated/4 goals in 8 game last year/" etc. she is having a massive impact on us in just 2 games. we have struggled to score in previous seasons but now we are keeping the ball inside 50 for longer due to her influence. she is so tough, a great mark and long kick and is only 24! We should be clear favourites for the flag, our recruiting and drafting has been spot on and most importantly we are playing as a team and fighting for each other. our pressure and intensity is terrific.
