  1. Taken earlier today, some of the old boys enjoying a catch up at the Bentleigh Club.
  2. The article reads as if he wrote it 18 months ago.
  3. You’re not wrong, placing stickers on apples can be more dangerous than people think.
  4. One strike and I lose my job. The AFL are ridiculously lenient on their players. I have no doubt that this ‘leniency’ contributes to players dabbling in illegal drug use.
  5. $65 (per my last bill). So they came down to $29 without HD and wanted an extra $10 for HD. I wasn’t paying the extra and they eventually caved in.
  6. Heat policy below: http://www.aflcommunity.com.au/fileadmin/user_upload/Manage_Your_Club/3._Club_Management_Program/1._Club_Policies___Guidelines/heat_policy.PDF ”In addition the following concessions may be introduced: - increase the number of water carriers to run fluids - increase the length of intervals to enable teams to leave the field for the shade of the rooms at each break ie. 25 minutes for 1⁄2 time and/or 10 minutes for 1⁄4 & 3⁄4 time - further reduce length of quarters - consider postponing or rescheduling games”
  7. For this season I’ll be sticking with ‘traditional’ Foxtel. I rang them today to get a better deal and after threatening to cancel I settled on paying $29 a month for IQ3, this is for the Entertainment package, Sports channels and HD. If you’re in a similar boat and only have Foxtel for AFL give them a call and save yourself a few bucks.
  8. ‘Slightly change the way coaches get messages out to the players’ rather than ‘revolutionise’ I would have thought would be more apt.
  9. Yep, no doubt it became a ‘personal issue’.
  10. He had a falling out with a player which led to him falling out with further players and a coach.
  11. I take almost nothing away from scratch matches except perhaps the fitness level of individuals. Any AFL listed player can look like a star when the opposition lowers their pressure.
  12. Nice piece of play for a Stretch goal.
  13. Will we win the Grand Final?
  14. It’s Aboriginal slang for “the best” or “solid”. I use to work in an Aborigianl community, it was a favourite amongst the kids.
  15. *Insert Randy Marsh South Park Jizz Gif here*
  16. The 2000 prelim for me, I was a footy mad 16 year old and took the train in by myself to reserve seats for the rest of the family. I knew before the game we were going to win, I could feel it, deep, in my plumbs.
  17. More chance of them having wifi in jail than having it in their homes.
  18. Would you prefer to have his perfect body and imperfect kicking action or imperfect body and perfect kicking action?
  19. Ones kicking whilst on the run, the other is stationary. Also, Petracca’s ball is higher than Spargo’s which to me suggests by the time it drops a little more his plant foot will be fully planted before his master foot makes contact with the ball.
  20. The players look like they’ve all been shredding for Stereo.
  21. Mass AFLXodus?
