Sorry my mistake, picks 16 and 35 but received 22 back. My initial point has been lost anyway and doesn’t relate to Bennell in anyway (although I did suspect it may go over posters heads who would subsequently bring him into it). My point was that Fremantle chased Hogan for quite some time however less than 18 months after signing they were looking at letting him go.

Harley cost Fremantle next to nothing and spent four years on their list. They chased Hogan for years before landing him utilising a first and second round pick only to look at offloading since February this year (less than 18 months after signing him). As I said, alarm bells.

If Fremantle are looking to offload him after chasing him for so long, shouldn’t that set off enough alarm bells?

He signed a five year deal at the end of 2018 for a reported $3.5 million. Yes I understand contracts can be broken but this one isn’t going to be. Plus, he’s ordinary and I wouldn’t want him anyway.
