How about Devon Smith, i'd give a first rounder up for him. He's a jet -

I personally really like Toumpas and the signs he HAS shown. Rather than focusing on what he hasnt shown or others have shown, we should take a look at who we would potentially would replace him with. I dont want to rush him back, but he is probably one of those players that wil gradually improve at AFL level. Personally, i'd give him very short spells on ball and move him to half back. Beautiful kick and creates alot of time and space -

I mean you wouldnt be saying this if he was in the team by gifting him games. What we are trying to do is make him work on specific things in the VFL before he gets consistent games. Rather than play and he goes averagely, we'd rather him come back strong and full of confidence -

GOODBYE MR. CHIP FRAWLEY

He's a bad decision maker who is the best 1 on 1 defender at the club. It's weird.. -

The midfield battle was poor for us. Our defence need to tighten up on disposal. It's little things -
This is one of the worst games i have ever seen us play
-
some please please explain that decision to me
-
It's been a really poor start. Our disposal and decision making is killing us. If we clean that up, we will win this easily.

You may learn 2 things from this response: First: Sarcasm is almost impossible to effectively be portrayed though text. Second: When using sarcasm and no one understands, you look stupid and aggressive. Please take this into consideration when on Demonland. Thank You -

Your obnoxious posts continue to surprise me. Tyson was injured for more of last year. O'Rourke has not been injured and when he has gotten to senior level, he has been poor. Please do not comment or tag most posts, thanks. -

Dont judge him fully yet. Sit on the fence, have faith. -
Players to target at the end of the year
JackVineyForPresident replied to JackVineyForPresident's topic in Melbourne Demons
The thing is.. i would rather take a gun like Brayshaw or Petrecca in that draft than take a player who hasnt really performed at AFL level this year. So O'Rourke is a definite no for me.. there are certainly players like that out of contract.. We should be able to get a one from the draft and hopefully trade for another.. Personally, if we lose Frawley that doesnt hurt me, there are about 10 players i would deem more important than Frawley -
Yeah i get you. But they have players that are incredibly offensive with probably less defence in their game.. I just think that it would be really good to have Blease in the forward pocket putting on pressure and winning the ball himself.

Fyfe has re-signed. I am not surprised nor upset. I didnt really think that we would pursue him (due to the tag being too high), nor did i think that he would really leave. I am more confident Dangerfield will be leaving though -

Vickey a talented player who i dont believe puts in enough effort. He also appears to have a poor attitude. He'd be an interesting pickup -
In: Michie, Blease, JKH Out: Salem, Cross, Mckenzie I think that JKH and Salem should be interchangeable for this year or they should be atleast swapped this round. I'd bring Blease in for a chance and obviously Michie would be a good replacement for Cross.

The continuing saga of Melbourne's injury list - 2014
JackVineyForPresident replied to alpha33's topic in Melbourne Demons
fortunately Cooney and Griffen are out this week. But this will hurt us long term. May give Viv Michie an opportunity to come in and cement his spot. -
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHA no he is not. Not even close. Tom Mac is close to the best young key defenders in the league in my opinion. I do agree, that he can be very frustrating. But get real here.

Harsh, yet fair. Still looks like a very promising defender to me though.
