O'Rourke was a surprise at pick 2. He has played no good games at AFL level and shown absolutely nothing, a fresh player from the draft would be more encouraging. Tyson had a few really good games at GWS and was ultimately halted by injury. But even when he did play, he showed glimpses of ability and flare. O'Rourke has shown none of that. EVERYBODY! PLEASE STOP COMPARING THE TWO, THERE IS NO COMPARISON.

O'Rourke is not worth pick 9. Not at all. Sound rounder and nothing earlier.

He left the saints because the Stkilda board lost all of his money due to bad investments and he didnt know what to do. He was offered a large amount of money and accepted it so he can provide for himself and his family.

When you say "I dont care", i do actually care about finishing on the bottom. However, i have seen enough from our team to know that finishing on the bottom is not a disaster and we have made some drastic changes and improvement. I am happy with the direction of the club. I voted 1/10

Bontempelli has had a few good games, but it's unfair to say that he's proven more than Viney. Libba is definitely ahead of Viney.

Viney can burst out of packs with regularity, i havent seen Wines or Macrae do that. Macrae has received alot of flack for possession use. Viney can run into two players and keep gonig. He is a rare breed in inside ball

with Chippa almost certainly gone, i'd say Cameron or Shiel will realistically be the one to chase.

I just cant see us having 2 or 3 GWS players in our team next year. In my opinion, we'll get one of them or maybe even none. I promise you we will not end up with Trealor, Cameron and Shiel or Cameron, Shiel and Greene. We may get one, like Cameron or Shiel. Dont get me wrong, that'd be a good result.

Viney does things those boys cant. Alot of Macrae's possessions are cheap and useless. Wines is very good, but there are some key things he lacks.

The way Viney wins clearances and contested ball is far more superior to Wines and McRae. McRae makes poor choices and gets alot of loose ball that he turns over. All 3 are going brilliantly, but Viney can do things that these boys cant

Tomlinson would be a massive get. If Frawley goes, i'd be chasing Shiel, Cameron or Tomlinson and try to get Petrecca. Too add Petrecca and one of Shiel, Cameron or Tomlinson would be huge. I dont rate O'Rourke, he hasnt shown anywhere near enough.

We had Collingwood players come to our school today, Harry O, Clinton Young and Jonathan Marsh (rookie list). I asked them about Melbourne's improvement and their thoughts on the way we play. It was amazing to hear them say how much harder we are to play against and the competitive edge that has been added over the past year. They also commented on how brutal our defence has become to play against, stating during the Queens birthday game it was tough to break it down. Most of all i was impressed to see the respect that has clearly been instilled into opposition players who no longer take us lightly. This time last year we had Collingwood players, Goldsack and Jamie Elliot to stated we werent too good at the moment. Great to hear.

Gibbs is definitely an A grader, not even a question. Kruezer is C grader based on the last 2 years, even when he has played, he's been average. It'd be very harsh to not give Gibbs the title of A grader, he will rack up brownlow votes, you'll see.

I will say no to Sewell..

I actually think Hogan, Dawes, Pederson, JKH, Kent and Watts will work. We need midfielders. I am not worried about getting someone like Boyd (ofcourse i'd be delighted if we actually got someone like him). If we got someone like Tomlinson, then great! but they are necessities.

I really like this post!!! But i do think Wines will become a top 10 player of the comp. He is actually very explosive and does have a good kick. Otherwise, terrific post in my opinion.
