  1. I'm on board. Just noting Adelaide might be more difficult than we expect.
  2. Kozzie, my clock says it's 6.01PM. What's going on? Has yours stopped at 4
  3. My friend in Wang said the problem was to do with the need for a lot of attention. THat's all he came up with: said it turned a lot of other clubs away. Sorry if I gave the impression there was police action and what I also should have mentioned is that I now regularly point to Oliver's previous games and ask him if he's changed his opinion. My friend is also not a Charlie Spargo fan. I often ask him if he's changed his mind yet as well.
  4. I'm not saying that: It's to do with them beating Geelong and their recent improved form. We're not 'due' for anything...
  5. An ex AFL player who lives in Wang. says Oliver had 'issues' which stopped most clubs from looking at him. You may recall, at the end of his first year at the Demons there was an 'issue' involving a motor car and the police and Oliver. I love the guy, watched his first few intra club matches at Casey in the ROOs/Hogan days and he was always going to be a very unique and gifted talent. ALso saw his first game against GWS in 2016. He 'had' it.
  6. Adelaide will be a difficult beast to tame. Home ground, a new-found modus operandi. They went West last week and didn't lose by much. The lads need to be on top of their game for this.
  7. Weid was okay when he broke away: watch the 3rd quarter.
  8. I thought Weidemann was okay; yes, he missed a few marks he should have taken but he also took some good ones. HIs third quarter, particularly, was good.
  9. 6: Oliver 5: Lever 4: Salem 3: langdon: 2: Gawn 1: Spargo.
  10. On the one hand, the honesty is admirable but having played a lot of cricket, one learned not to 'walk' simply to balance out the times you were given out for 'missing' the ball.
  11. IT's a totally bogan, barbaric and effiing stupid ritual which deserves to be abolished.
  12. The more I see of this young man the more I love him. I haven't watched the game yet but on the Highlights I saw how he called his shot for goal 'touched' straight away. Kudos to him for that. I also noted last week that he held out his hand to two opposition players and helped them back on their feet. That's the kind of sportsmanship I really respect.
  13. It was the 6th game of the season. They was on top of the ladder, getting dizzy; made it 6 zip, the longest winning streak by the Demons since 2000.
  14. We slaughtered them earlier that year: 25.10 to 8.7.
  15. I thought they played 'on the edge' all night. A bit of hubris which probably comes with the turf.
  16. 6: McDonald 5: May 4: Salem 3: Harmes 2: Oliver 1: Langdon
  17. Warner true to form: a thug.
  18. A poster on Game Day reckoned Max was drunk. Explains it: they were definitely not 'on' in the first half.
  19. Told ya! Anderson pointed out quite early that Fritsch's elbow was helped upwards when it met Powell's elbow: Fritsch had no intention to hurt him.
  20. 'David Zita@DavidZita1 Replying to @DavidZita1 Powell pushes Fritsch's forearm higher when coming in to tackle, according to Anderson.' I've been saying that all along...It ought to be the core of the defence.
  21. The split second vision before this shows Bailey's arm connecting with the North player's arm, then being deflected upwards: also note how low both players are and I would argue that Fritsch had no intention of warding off the North players via the throat or head...
  22. THis is a wonderful moment; I was really moved the first time I saw it.
  23. Fair enough. Now, you leave Moses out of this. This is about our Kozzie, ok?
  24. Can't find anything in the cupboards. I'll check under the beds. Hope I don't find any communists!
