I think 2nd spot is gone… yes those close loses have cost us & yes the close wins also help but it’s the close loses that hurts, our ever unstable fwd line continues to hurt us through injury & form, the 2 rucks are not working

Want to be playing our first final in melb which would be Collingwood, biggest issue is the instability of our fwd live with continued change through injuries & the 2 Rucks are not working, let’s hope it’s not a repeat of 2022

Thank the Afl who make cats play the pies twice at the G and then give them the make up home game & we are shafted for that … the last 3 games v the cars have been away … having said that we played the blues twice at the G. the fixture pure and simple play each other twice then once away & home, if playing only once it should be rotated each season. Also mfc need to walk playing for points in the Alice as that lose May cost us top 2!

Overseas AtM what was Grundy output? Not bagging him but see no goals so just want work we need a competitor & with Petty who’s left T Mac, can’t fit them all in, just can’t see Grundy playing finals

Petty is a big loss as he was finding his rhythm, but that’s afl footy, we should have back Oliver , t Mac , Fritsch available by finals time. Though not sure would they need game time @ Casey?

Unfortunately club decision of must be near MCG precinct has backed them into a corner & perhaps blinkers to not look elsewhere… now looking at another decade of nomadic style between AAMI & Casey … and getting kicked off from AAMI due to WC… nothing easy for the MFC

It was a mixture of training @ both venues, bloody frustrating to see Collingwood less than 800 meters away not get affected yet always seems our club continues to be affected & having to adjust around our bloody nomadic training facilities

How many other clubs are having to deal with this, forced to drive 50/60 mins to drive Casey??
