I stand to be corrected but the existing format was all top 4 had extra days, understanding that the week off for which you could argue isn’t great helps, but Sydney could finish as low as 8th & for knowing the afl they will get the longest to recover

Will the close losses in particular to Freo & Gws deny us a top 2 finish and host a qualifying final? We now must win both & hope Port & Lions drop 1 game each. Rather finish 4th if we can’t finish 2nd to play Collingwood @ the G

Thank the Afl who make cats play the pies twice at the G and then give them the make up home game & we are shafted for that … the last 3 games v the cars have been away … having said that we played the blues twice at the G. the fixture pure and simple play each other twice then once away & home, if playing only once it should be rotated each season. Also mfc need to walk playing for points in the Alice as that lose May cost us top 2!

Last few entries sums up the bombing and not lowering their eyes, Salem is a great kick and not sure why he didn’t hit a target by lowering his eyes, the bombing to Max and sure blocking occurred etc but our method is off … they wouldn’t have done this in 21.

Could this be the biggest missed opportunity by a club not to win multiple flags with the current mids, defence & rucks? Unfortunately our fwds succumbed to injuries with Fritsch , Tmac dogged with foot issues & brown knee is shot. Overseas AtM what was Grundy output? Not bagging him but see no goals so just want work we need a competitor & with Petty who’s left T Mac, can’t fit them all in, just can’t see Grundy playing finals

Petty is a big loss as he was finding his rhythm, but that’s afl footy, we should have back Oliver , t Mac , Fritsch available by finals time. Though not sure would they need game time @ Casey?
