Afl seem to find a way to shaft the MFC

Somehow Goodwin & the coaches have found a way to completely destroy this team of afl skill level, you look at the cats & how they have managed to maintain a standard since 07 and top up via trading in and free agents…it’s very sad that our club just can’t sustain success!

They do this by getting good free agents and trading in players that improve their list not ones that sit in their vfl team

Cats will finish top 4 .. somehow they find away to remain competitive & contend for premierships since 07 missing finals once! their drafting & top ups of free agents is something many clubs should learn from… mmmmm

Really 27 year continuous membership, I say as it is and plenty of footy commentary plus ex players have highlighted much the same, this is a forum were we can vent and I understand there’s a line we can’t cross but I never question anyone’s support of the club here!

I’m not a troll just a passionate member supporter since 1972 … I removed that word … but our club jabs stuffed up the biggest opportunity to win multiple flags .. poor trading full stop … I believe the u23s are great ‘!

Can’t open the article but they traded in who can’t get a game vs what’s walked out the door is good start & of course the Grundy debacle abodes after 12 rounds & Goodwin flip flop game plan

What would lamb be saying now watching all the trades in the last 2 seasons siting at Casey?? Biggest flops and perhaps the worst in the afl …

Leppitsch should be targeted as an assistant as Goodwin needs fresh ideas need to move on some of the longer term assistants …

How much is Goodwin responsible for the poor drafting that’s occurred in the last 2 seasons & decisions on Jordan , Harmes, Grundy which has exposed our ruck depths seeing Gawn playing on 1 leg, game plan? Need fresh assistants new ideas

My bad hawks one more game won, but clearly ahead of us .. there recruits looking good choices

Vs Billing’s, macadam , schache, Hunter , Fullerton all staring & @ vfl level, not sure how they got this so wrong and can’t expect all to impact but barring Hunter who is struggling we have no gains

How will Goody be feeling watching the hawks go past us and have won 2 more games than us & pushing for finals … the drafting of our recycled players diabolical

Agree we got shafted on academy pics as we selected heeny & mills but swans matched .. rules changed and we got shafted on Mac Andrews! We also gifted then Grundy & JJ

Never understand why Brayshaw was moved away from the wing after winning the flag, replacing him with Hunter a has been who the Dogs were rapt to see him go, lots of off the field issues & our due diligence was poor instead of investing in JJ

What’s occurred this season he hasn’t slept well at all

They drafted well & we helped them with Grundy & Jordan .. based on our 2 yrs of bringing spuds in .. it’s comical
