Injuries impacted but the bottom line is the bombing we do is suited for power fwds which can contest & either mark or bring to ground which we don’t have, we have hybrids trying to compete on 2vs1 and need to lower their eyes. The amount of times leads were ignored and free players is frustrating yet both Goody/coaches can’t get them to change this BS.

It’s our game plan, for multiple fw50 entries regardless of how good they are, we don’t have a power fwds the likes of the lions, cats, blues & expecting a young JVR and hybrids to take marks is unbelievable. Watching the game again and the continued ignoring of leads & free players to just wanting to bombing it in us simply dumb football . An issue which Goody can’t ignore & hasn’t been able to fix. It’s one thing to have a defence & contest mindset which is great but to not execute fw50 entries and not lower your eyes is simply poor … don’t want to hear how well we played as we didn’t!

Haven’t won a final since our premiership & likely to go out in straight sets & possibly 4 final loses in a row! Continue to bomb the ball into fw50 in the same dumb way! Who would want to be a forward at our club with that rubbish coming in! Goody saying how proud he was of his players really, it’s the same old BS yet we keep hearing the learnings they get? Will the next 3 yrs see us just hanging around finals and hearing the same old & then watching us fall of the cliff? Hearing Max say it felt like a typical Melbourne loss, I thought we had gone past this!

Just got back from overseas & watched the game and can’t believe the continued bombing and poor fwd 50 entries which has dogged this team for many a season, have they learned nothing????

In all this a chance we could have a straight sets exit 2 years in the row yet Goody has a 3 year extension. I’m a fan of Goody but very concerning as our finals footy isn’t holding up with losses in our last 3 finals

May go down as biggest missed opportunity to win multiple flags with so much talent. Our list mgt has done most things right but not sure why a premiership team can’t attract the gun fwd we need. Injuries haven’t been kind & expecting a young Jvr, Smith & Tmac in his last legs want see us winning a flag

Filthy 69-37 inside 50s, same issues continue, yet we get an AA ruck who can’t get a game & watch cox & Cameron tee off against Gawn… not sure if this was the difference but unsure why Goody didn’t play Grundy. If this turns out to be another straight sets who will be held accountable to a missed opportunity of winning another flag.

Grundy wouldn’t have done much .. tough questions if it’s a straight sets again .. Grundy trade was a major mistake, our fwd 50 has been an issue for a number of seasons yet can’t fix it

Pigeon holed was stated by him I believe.. it’s a bit annoying as the culture @ the Dees is playing your role eg Brayshaw has embraced his role like all the other players. Not sure what Jackson is on about as our club has many late draft picks who have been developed & premiership players. Just felt he’s taking a swipe at our club maybe I’m wrong, good luck watching the Dees play finals

Can’t knock the system as Casey has produced many of our senior players but removing so many players is questionable.Unfortunately I think Harmes time is up, his kick to Fritsch to kick start our comeback in 21 GF will always be remembered

Swans finish 7th or 8th & won 3.5/5.5 games less than the Dees & pies, yet May get 2 extra days to prepare for finals go figure

I stand to be corrected but the existing format was all top 4 had extra days, understanding that the week off for which you could argue isn’t great helps, but Sydney could finish as low as 8th & for knowing the afl they will get the longest to recover

Rumoured Pies to play The 4the team on Thursday night ? If true how do the bottom 4 teams of the 8 get a longer break, understanding there is a weeks Break before the finals, if the Dees finish 4th that means the the swans get more time to prepare?

Likely lions will win & 2nd spot done so we need port to win so we stay @ the G
