The game plan was built around contest defence and multiple fwd 50 entries, it won us finals & a flag convincingly, but have failed to find a power fwds since 21 , instead trying to turn defenders into fwds with both T Mac & petty heading back, JVR need support yet we trade for vfl players, not to mention the Grundy disaster

I think they didn’t show their hand of the game plane entirely, i would be concerned on our defending, leaking 16 goals which is what we built our premiership on

Well we can only hold the current board inc Pert responsible since 2018 & agree previous ones have failed but they were obsessed of having a home base around the mcg precinct which I believe stopped them from looking at other alternatives, I hope they get Caulfield but I can see stumbling blocks in funding in particular gvt $$ have dried up!

Club announced in 2018 they were close on a site around AAMI park district which Pert was apart of, we will be the only club with no home base with bulldogs redevelopment complete & tigers on the way! It’s no wonder we struggle to attract decent free agents who would want to drive 50mins to Casey! Caulfield will be another 5 years away if it happens & yes they should have a plan B , even the Swans found a way to build a 60 mill state of the art only a few minutes away from the SCG!

Reality is Hawks have orchestrated 2 home bases in the last 25 years & we have been going around in circles, what is Perts plan B if Caulfield fails?? So possibly another 5 years up in smoke .. sorry based on past history confidence isn’t great!

It’d become boring talking about Trac and questioning he’s every move.. let him climb the mountain of getting back to fitness along with his mental ability of putting his body online, I’m sure all of us would be struggling to deal with this!
