Listening to Goodwin presser it appears their strategy is to improve via the draft & our existing older players are still capable of featuring at the next flag assault, not the course that the cats, pies & lions have taken, can’t see many of our senior players will request for a trade if we finish bottom 6 in 26 if not this season

Listening to his presser of copy & paste it appears that the strategy around list mgt is on drafting in young talent vs trading in experienced players vs what the cats, pies & lions are doing to still be contending for another flag but what would they know! Whatever talent is left will retire or ask to be traded waiting on Goodwin rebuild and watching the cats , pies & lions winning multiple flags

Correct but goes deeper than that our presser turnover has dropped off, our marks inside 50, who’s our danger marking fwd ?? our mids are not what they were, call it game plan, call it ageing and or injury certainly Trac not the same Oliver has dropped off, Viney he’s given everything but he’s not the elite, game plan coaching, we have gone from Yze to Mcqualter both senior coaches now to Jones & no disrespect but the 2 before him coached under 2 coaches who won 7 flags.. it seems as though the strategy is to improve the list via the draft and Finnish outside the 8 rather than trading in exp talent like the cats, pies, lions who are challenging but what would they know!

Cliff has arrived! Need new ideas new voice and make bold decisions to trade out some premiership heroes to get rejuvenate the list with new exp talent, Simon time has arrived also

Reality is we have gone from 16 wins in 23 to 11 in 24 & lucky if we win 8 games … whilst relative healthy, that’s going backwards and yet the club wants to back Goodwin whilst our membership & gate receipts go down the drain not to mention whatever talent we have left will start requesting trades

The issue we have is we don’t have other mids who can win the ball, Langford & Lindsay are 1st year players & kick great, may as well throw them, unfortunately who is getting dropped for the bombing and poor choices going fwd ..Jvr whipping boy

So the afl decided to shaft the club with no games in Melb for its suffering supporters to watch them for a whole month (blessing?)with a bye and 3 road trips! I looked at the dogs fixture 12 prime time night games! We’re is the equality in the draw!

This transition BS I don’t see the last 3 premiers finishing bottom 6 for 2 yrs in a row! Grant it both pies & cats missed finals after winning flags but they have bounced back with strengthen their lists vs our VfL recruits!
