How many coaches in their 10th season after winning a flag have climbed the mountain again, apart from Scott who got a premiership team still in the flag clock in 2011 every other coach was done , Clarko, Simpson, Hardwick & Longmire, who all overstayed their time, time for a new voice new ideas waiting for 2026 for what, take example of how the exits of Longmire, Simpson and Hinkley have been handled with respect.

Fed up of the excuses from our club who have butchered our list with pathetic trades and missed opportunities, watching Huston playing for the filth after he turned his back on us due to the culture issues!

it’s like watching a train wreck and it starts from the top with what’s occurred off field to our President & CEO then it filtrates to decisions made at the footy dept & target both experienced assistant coaches & trade in experience talent to fill the holes in our list yet we got VFL players and all due respect to Jones who we love but he’s no Yze or Maqualter both come from premiership teams and are now coaching.

He needs to go as can’t fix the rinse & repeat but the issue we have which sums up the mess we are in is a new president & CEO in the waiting , how can you make decisions when they are not in the chair?

Brad Green is great person and board need to make a decision whenever the new president & ceo starts which sums up our club, to say thanks Goody but it’s just not working and our club can’t accept bottoming out & returning to the dark days! Don’t be surprised if Trac & Oliver request trades & I wonder if the players are sending a message on lever getting dropped

Baffling .. Jvr is the whipping boy yet the guilty mids etc who bomb away & butcher the ball going fwd are not dropped! Maybe if Jvr was left in the fwd line & not played ruck he may develop! Winsor was on fire on the wing in 24 go figure , Lever was never ready.. Goodwin has destroyed the team!

So hard for our club to secure a home and the only club in the AFL to not have one! I hope they are looking at alternative sites as Port Melbourne vfl ground is so ripe for development along with the whole fisherman bend redevelopment will see an extra 20k of people, the council have also acquired land next door for open parkland etc

My thing on Oliver or any player who misses preseason due to behaviours is they need to earn their stripes & fitness back in the VFL, no issue in the contract he signed though I think all should be max 4 years, Yes Yze was part of 22-23 but Goodwin didn’t tweak game plan.

Unbelievable can see this falling over, it’s just all too hard and hinged on too many variables, so a decade since P Jackson took over we are no closer! If any site is based on gvt funding who are in do much debt good luck

He hasn’t coached well for his 9 years yes he won a flag but Yze played a big role, has struggled by his own admission in 19 & 24, pigheaded in 22 & didn’t play Casey players to rest seniors going into finals, burnt players like Bedford & Jordan, trading in Hunter who had issues culture issues allowing Oliver to play senior footy whilst he missed pre season, that sent a poor message to the others needed to earn his spot & respect back!
