I hope they are looking at alternative sites as Port Melbourne vfl ground is so ripe for development along with the whole fisherman bend redevelopment will see an extra 20k of people, the council have also acquired land next door for open parkland etc

My thing on Oliver or any player who misses preseason due to behaviours is they need to earn their stripes & fitness back in the VFL, no issue in the contract he signed though I think all should be max 4 years, Yes Yze was part of 22-23 but Goodwin didn’t tweak game plan.

Unbelievable can see this falling over, it’s just all too hard and hinged on too many variables, so a decade since P Jackson took over we are no closer! If any site is based on gvt funding who are in do much debt good luck

He hasn’t coached well for his 9 years yes he won a flag but Yze played a big role, has struggled by his own admission in 19 & 24, pigheaded in 22 & didn’t play Casey players to rest seniors going into finals, burnt players like Bedford & Jordan, trading in Hunter who had issues culture issues allowing Oliver to play senior footy whilst he missed pre season, that sent a poor message to the others needed to earn his spot & respect back!

I just hope he does what Longmire did put his hand up to say I can do anymore with this group, no shame and he gets the respect as our only living premiership coach which he’s earnt.

Same issues last 4 seasons, hasn’t been able to fix them, which has cost us a flag!, it’s copy & paste, it’s been 9 seasons sure won a flag that’s great thanks, but it’s time, the $$ to pay him out vs what is costing us in membership and gate receipts. Totally agree, have been in his corner but 4 years of same BS and looking like back to back bottom 4 finishes is not acceptable with the talent we have, something isn’t right and can’t wait until 2026 for the change, it reflects our club a president & Ceo in waiting goes to the core of what’s wrong at the club!

Don’t agree totally, Goodwin has failed to evolve buy he’s own admission he back flipped to the old game plan mid 2024 and current one isn’t working, it’s clear he can’t get the players do stop bombing, list mgt through whatever reasons either cap space haven’t been able to trade in any quality experience players In particular forwards, look at who the pies have gotten, if ts cap space that’s poor list mgt though he would have input, but hey let’s burn another season so trac, Oliver, Viney Gawn May lever are one year older…

Big talk of Ben King to the pies, yet we don’t ever seem to be linked to players to address our biggest issue in our FW50!
