  1. Slow and steady from the FD. It's a big game, but Puffing Billy was always there about and Maximus is a big in even after ten weeks out. I like the changes because it shows belief in the winning group and they won't make changes unless absolutely necessary. Will be interested to see if they play Pedo up back or TMac tho. Preference is Pedo in the forward line assisting Petracca up a different wing for marking contests tho for forward entries.
  2. It's already been confirmed by the players it was a bit of a laugh cos they are mates. The media buys into it because they need something "edgy" to talk about and that's about it.* * Although I reckon Goody might say to the boys stop the silly stuff so I don't have to answer dumb arse questions in the post game
  3. Bugg has been great the last month, despite the goal kicking a few weeks ago over two matches he's doing everything required. He's can be an absolutely annoying [censored] head, but he's our absolutey annoying [censored] head, so I'm happy to hear oppo fans complain about him. Runs hard, put's pressure on and now has stepped up to kick goals. No way we should drop him.
  4. Very good today, good on him cos I thought we would be dropped a few weeks ago. Glad to be wrong on that and see a young player succeed. Some of his marks today were great and his kicking was good too. It looks like he is getting the confidence to back himself. One thing I would like to ask him tho is last week when he kicked to Harmes who then kicked to Watts for the clincher... if he actually meant that, The Titanic music should have started around ten seconds earlier
  5. It's not the be all and end all, but he is still averaging over 25 disposals a game. I also like the way he directs the team on the field (others have started to make specific examples). He's been a big tick this year for mine. Except the dumb suspension of course
  6. Missed the whole thread once I got up to your post, so apologies if anyone has said this or similar. "Welcome to Dan Andrew's Victoria where crime is out of control." I typed out a big rant, but then I thought about it. Are you actually suggesting a Sate Government will actually be weak on crime? (P.S look at the way the Andrews government changed the rules for minors in detention) I got some cheap magic beans if you're keen.
  7. Great footage guys, thanks for sharing
  8. Should have a thread for these beauty's, can go alongside Viney's tackle!
  9. You said the coach had to come out and say... sorry for my hyperbole, but a big media frenzy is exactly what would happen if your original post happened. Agree with a measured, careful approach and that is what I am advocating.
  10. Sorry, I disagree with you. I don't accept that a Media campaign that get's the blood up, back page News!! that makes us feel better about what happened on the weekend is the best way for the club to approach their duty of care. It's boring for us because we won't know about it, but if the club sees it as an issue, it will be addressed.
  11. I'm really curious, aside from the "walk off the field" type comments and rant against the Thousand Nations of the Persian Empire against us in the Media, that the club would be doing nothing? There have already been reports of vision of Clayton's handballs going to the Umps to review when he was called for a throw that wasn't. Do you really not think the club is not talking to the proper authorities when they think decisions are completely stupid? Final point, do you really want our coach to sound like Brad Scott?
  12. I don't think he will, because we aren't that sort of club. I understand the frustration and what you are saying, but I don't want us to be North or Carlton in that regard. I don't want our coach looking like a whinger (rightly or wrongly), look at what we did wrong, what we can do better and educate the group from there. Plus in that second quarter we were just as full on as they were.
  13. We can get into semantics I suppose. He was very good up until he took a kick at goal, and then he was pathetic. Unlikely as well that his set shots will be so bad week to week if he plays like he did today. Not having a go, hope you (kinda) get what I mean. I'm as frustrated as anyone, but, yeah.
  14. The point being he had those chances. Screwed them up, absolutely. But if he hadn't he would have been the second coming on this board.
  15. Well, We've gone from being the worst team to follow, to the most frustrating team to follow over the last year and a bit. I guess that's better, but it doesn't make me feel better this season. At the very least we're keeping our percentage nice, in case it clicks later in the year. OUT: O'Mac & (maybe) Kent IN: Not sure for O'Mac, Ben K for Kent? I'd like more changes, but I don't quite see where they will come from right now, and I'm talking KP players.
  16. He flubbed stuff, at least he had the opportunity to do that. Kent is the worry for mine.
  17. We should be behind, but FMD how many trips haven't been paid on our forward 55 ugh
  18. Yes, and not well. I get Abe's point, but damn he's been woeful with the ball.
  19. Screw B "Nothing much in that" T. Wonder how much he would like a throat punch.
  20. If it were to happen (and I doubt it will at this stage) the Tasmanian team would play in both Launceston and Hobart.
