I just watched the video. A little bit of hyperbole in this thread tbh. Also, only a small part of the overall show on radio. It was fine, a few insights from Kingy and the Cornholio nodding along at times. Don't read too much into it is my view, and clickbait it was not. I enjoyed hearing about the Dees for a bit and that was that.

No Gawn was fine last week cos it was pizzling down. We were way smaller than Flagmantle this week but kept kicking it down the line like we had Maxy there, ugh. Petty is not a ruck, and JVR tries his guts out but can't be the number 1. ruck when the coach realises Petty is no good when it's already too late. We lack poise and finishing too, Flagmantle actually fluffed plenty of kicks when centering that that we just gave straight back to them, just kept giving them momentum when they shouldn't have had it.

If there are players likely to have surgery after the season, put them in now and get them right. Clarry does a mini pre-season with the bye. And have someone [censored] tell him to play like the way he did when was a kid. Today wasn't all bad either. Posters killed us, momentum is a thing. If it means we have to play dour football to have a chance at finals, fine, do that and work on skills. And if we don't make finals, but we're trying to be a better side for it next year. So be it.

With the HTB reset I think it might be a time to go back to basics. With the changes in just a week our midfielders going back to high stoppage lots of tackles might be an advantage.

Rivers has gone backwards unfortunately. Last year he was looking like our next gun :(
