If there are players likely to have surgery after the season, put them in now and get them right. Clarry does a mini pre-season with the bye. And have someone [censored] tell him to play like the way he did when was a kid. Today wasn't all bad either. Posters killed us, momentum is a thing. If it means we have to play dour football to have a chance at finals, fine, do that and work on skills. And if we don't make finals, but we're trying to be a better side for it next year. So be it.

With the HTB reset I think it might be a time to go back to basics. With the changes in just a week our midfielders going back to high stoppage lots of tackles might be an advantage.

Rivers has gone backwards unfortunately. Last year he was looking like our next gun :(

It was this one that I was thinking about, Freo pushing forward players around the ball and he just went so wide and couldn't get back to put any impact on at all. Not a fitness issue.* *apologies for spud quality picture

It was his positioning that I had issue with. It wasn't attacking to get the ball on the outside (as it went on the other side) he was just in no-mans land and I couldn't understand it.

Seeing Clayton five meters away from his opponent when they got an easy entry goal made me go wtf that's for sure

Somehow the commentating is annoying me more than the game...

Trac was great today. Lovely link up plays and touch, heaps of score involvements.

I don't know why but I especially love BBB kicking snags and competing, watching him play well makes me very happy. Accidentally swore in front of the kiddo in the first quarter when I saw TMac down back, but I'll admit it worked and he played well (just a bit slow on the transition kicks tho). Choo-choo was immense. Wish I'd been at the G when he came off in the 4th. We all love him and it's obvious the coaching group and players do too. Gawn just went "Yeah, nah" after last week, back to his best. May harnessing his rage is awesome. Billings was great as well, let's us move Salem back and give a good kicking option so adds layers to the team. Should have played a full game last week. Just softly as well, there were plenty of people upset (myself included as well) last week, but I'd politely suggest most of us weren't thinking the season was over, but the selected team was off. The mix was much better today, lots to work on but looked much better.

When I don't understand something, I find it useful to to do some dot points and diagrams to better my understanding. I think I've cracked it!

Thanks everyone for the reports on the hit out today. Unfortunately for me I was playing cricket in Hobart heat (so mid high twenties but the sun was spicy) in a forty over aside match and we only had nine blokes, and we had to bowl first. Would have much preferred to watch the game haha.

I like new threads in the off season but...

Don't know about a nickname, but I've been playing heaps of Baldur's Gate 3.... and sorry to say he has a Dungeons and Dragons name.
