There is still something to work with here. We played much better tempo footy today and honestly should have been nearly ten goals up at one stage. But there is still a messaging and confidence problem, always looking to pass off what should be easy kicks and then shanking them when we do finally take a decent shot and you can almost feel the terror emanating from the player. Look at Trac, when it's instinct, he's great. The instant he thinks, blurgh.

Not a small forward but Colin Garland kicked eight for the North Hobart Demons yesterday

He was fine on the weekend. Don't put him on the wing, he's still a reasonable kick and wasn't as bad as about 2/3 of our side. We can't get rid of everyone in the off-season and in the right role still offers something. He'll be playing next year.

The idea that it was Freo's injuries wot won it strikes me as odd. If it wasn't for our terrible disposal out of the defensive fifty that gave them goals on a platter we would have been ahead all day.

This bloke pushes the game to the limits, but FMD he's got some skills to go with it.

Other than May and obviously Salem our defenders should be told they are never ever allowed to do anything than kick the ball as far as they absolutely [censored] can. We should have been ahead all day, dumb turnovers cost us and let the stagers cry to the umpires and keep them in the game.

First point. That's why we aren't getting smashed at the moment. Second Point. It's the bombing in that's the problem. Third Point. If we have a man back and TMac is has two players playing on him..... we have a one on one if we don't do dumb crap. Garlett can't have two players loose if TMac has two defenders playing on him.

Kayo is what should have been happening years ago. Still a flawed product... but... I trialed it on my phone a couple of months back and it was okay, but casting on a phone with anything I've always found to be a problem. My NBN connection is FTTH 100Mbps. Now, there is an app for my TV. I installed that, paid 25 bucks for the month. Tested it out and it was great. A couple of lag issues here an there, but over the eight hours I had it on for yesterday (Womens ODI, NBL, AFLW, NZ v Bangladesh and Richmond V Melbourne) much better than the terrible AFL live app (in drop outs and quality) so sharing the two devices on an account with a mate. 12.50 a month v Foxtel prices? Easy choice.

More than Hall which is a tick and if something happens like this again (and I certainly hope not) it will go up again in an increment. And related/not related I said this to a mate on FB; Out of this whole Gaff thing, I hope one thing the AFL starts doing is suspending players for jumper punches and hitting people in the guts. Seeing players on their knees spewing and no sanction sets up retaliation (and yes the retaliation is just as wrong and the offender deserves everything they get). Deescalation should be important too.

I reckon something was said in regards to Hamish and Gaff, someone got it wrong or the CEO actually screwed up under pressure and did some 1+1 = 3 I don't think the intent was to lie, but incompetence... for sure!

I'm kinda on the fence on this one, and think you have a point. However the AFL media can be a bunch of cretins and it wouldn't be much fun for the "regular folk" walking through the gate into that poo blizzard.
