  1. Make the clubs pay the AFL for independent doctors at each game to adjudicate concussion protocols.
  2. Not should of! Should've is the contraction of should have. We'd (we had, we should or we would) not we'd of it's we'd have I need a coffee. Yes I know people will say it doesn't matter, but it does. There, their or they're is another. It makes a difference! Sorry, I'm grumpy this morning.
  3. Petty recovered well. Petty Foot! 3-5 weeks Please explain.
  4. Expressing one's opinions does not necessarily mean communicating. Sometimes I simply give up after reading a sentence two or three times trying to decipher what someone is trying to say. "I take for granite some people's poor grammer. More pacifically how there always thinking "for all intensive purposes" is supposably correct. Buy the way lets eat Fred." There cutting homeless people in half!":
  5. Some of the cricket commentary has been excellent, particularly when they shut up! Last night the work experience kid had a shot at directing the footy, could they please show what is going on on the ground at all times. If they insist on showing a close-up of someone's ear or ankle or Ross Lyon ordering pizza use a little box at the bottom of the screen! Surely they must know by now that we all have massive TV'S. I can happily watch two sports at once! (not when it's raining in England - NB Sunny in France) And another rant, STOP PLAYING WITH THE LIGHT SWITCH! What moron thinks that improves the experience? Oh, great win, go deees!
  6. I love this photo. Bairstow still inside the crease, the ball already on its way to the stumps and stupid Bairstow wanders off without looking where the ball is. I don't think a junior cricketer in Australia would ever be so stupid.
  7. I'd like to ban advertising. I should start a campaign! Flyers, press releases, radio TV. I can see it now, STFU everywhere, Nathan Brown could say STFU responsibly!
  8. Still it is quite remarkable that extinct Fitzroy has played there more than Collingwood.
  9. So no rumours? I had a beauty too, a premiership player a bar girl and a bishop, have to keep it to myself now. 🙂
  10. I struggle when I see or hear "8 point game". There is no such thing. The outcomes are 0 points, 2 points or 4 points. If you and your opponent start a round on 30 points the greatest difference after the round is 4 points. My rant for the day 🙂
  11. I like the idea of a red card adjudicated immediately off field, with the penalty being the guilty player is removed plus another player selected by the aggrieved sides coach. Get the idiots out of the game.
  12. The problem with that is people could still miss out. Sell outs are good financially but people can still miss out.
  13. You can use your imagination! No, not there. Anywhere on the torso and away from the genitals. (According to a friend)
  14. One of the most effective ways of upsetting a dirty player without getting reported is to pinch them, hard. They lose their 💩
  15. Diving head first into another player should be, 1 Reportable - one week suspension 2 Free kick to the player struck with the head 3 Waiving of rights to sue the AFL for subsequent problems regarding concussion. If we really want to reduce head trauma ban ducking and diving in head first.
  16. I'm glad they hate us. If they didn't f'up so often we wouldn't need to appeal. They can hate all they like as long as we win.
  17. I disagree Beeb, I think every game is a learning event. We observer's from the outside are not privy to internal machinations. Players are asked to perform roles that do not allow them to do the things that we think spectacular, but they are doing the team thing. I think Rivers, Brayshaw and Langdon can do other roles and surprise us with their capabilities. Joel Smith could even surprise. I look for a silver lining, dee-luded maybe, but I want another flag and this could help. (That's what I'm telling myself)
  18. One soldier out, one soldier in. We can and will replace Oliver if required. The replacement won't be the same but we may learn something valuable. We may improve as a team. These obstacles should be seen as opportunities, we may benefit long term. Platitudes maybe but I believe we will get better.
