you can make statistical observations- i mean thats how they do tv ratings and election polls however i think given the way footy is split (10 teams in vic and only 1 or 2 in each other city, these statistical things are a bit hard. fwiw tho, i did like the one showing that collingwood fans shopped at dimmeys and forgers

out of interest, the stats down the bottom are crap. unless the results are modified statistically to include the standard deviations etc they mean nothing. 18% more likely? would fall well within one standard deviation, making the stat pointless...

you dont rate newton? based on what? he is young, has great hands and a fantastic leap. he is averaging 3 goals per game this year in the sandy firsts where he is not the number one target. he has shown he can play at FF, CHF, HFF or on the wing. what don't you like? and have you actually seen him play occo?

but bell has been amongst our best most of this year? except the WC game of course, where it is safe to say we didnt need to list a best... miller has been in our best prob 3 times this year as well. but when he hasnt been listed in our best he has been horrible-not getting a touch at all and making terrible decisions. when bell hasnt been in our best couple he has still played a servicable game and had not many kicked on him.

do you think that in 3 years miller will be our starting CHF while bate starts on the interchange?

out of interest, both sautnre and juice have played 9 games each this season. sautner has kicked 31 goals to newtons 26. im pretty happy with that from newton given he has spent time on a wing and further up the ground yet still averages 3 goals per game.

lol just joshin ya. but in all honesty, i dont care what they do at away games as long as they make ALL homegames they can. crowds at away games are good, but no where near as important...

i wonder how many threads in the history of demonland have had this many posts? old fwiw i agree with you on this one. he did play well then, and that sort of ground suits him. he is least suited to geelong, adelaide and sydney (and i spose TD). the problem is while he may have played good games, he has never influenced a result has he? (with the possible exception of that game against richmond, however even that day neita booted 6 goals, two more than he). miller looks like he could get 15 touches and kick a couple and be servicable. i think thats a key point. EDIT: in that game against richmond, robertson also kicked 2 goals 5 behinds, so it was a pretty good day for our tall forwards. however miller managed to pick up 2 brownlow votes. (although nathan brown picked up 3 votes with 21 disposals and a goal, while cam bruce had the pill 33 times for the 1 vote)
