All sounds perfectly logical to me. I'm not surprised by anything you said because it sounds exactly like McKenna (good developer but too nice, let standards slip) and exactly like Eade (pendulum swung too far in the opposite direction to "discipline" the list). Neither strategy works. As with all things, balance is the key to success. Where Roos came into the Demons and balanced the criticism with cuddles, Eade simply isn't the type to sugarcoat his sprays. Layer on top the questionable leadership of Ablett, the guy fawned over as the "difference between the Suns winning or losing", and it's not hard to see why players have checked out.
