Probably us at some point under Neeld.

That braindead passage from Geelong sums up their day. Fancy kicking all the way backwards to Collingwood's goalsquare to do the switch, with minutes on the clock. Idiots.
-
Collingwood player just blatantly runs straight for the line and runs the ball over, not even trying to keep it in. Not called deliberate. Farcical.
-
Nice, selfish goal there from the Yank who burned Varcoe who was running into the goalsquare.
-
This game has just turned into a rolling maul of packs of players. Thoroughly average television. Dumb, slow, moronic kick from a Geelong player to the centre of the ground, which a Collingwood player easily intercepted.
-
9 points in it now. 15 minutes to go. Would love to see Collingwood fall apart here!
-
Ironic that the two teams fighting for 8th on the ladder played the two Queensland basketcases this round.
-
Adelaide are on track to annihilate Gold Coast. We've got our work cut out tomorrow to stand any chance of making the 8.
-
2 behinds and a poster from Bartel, Danger and Menzel at the end of Q2 sums it up.
-
They look slow and indecisive. Think they came into the game expecting a walkover.
-
I don't want the Pies to find form now! If they win today we'll both have 4 wins. What a disaster.
-
They still have an expanded list, don't they? Like a 4 extra senior players? I imagine the AFL, in all their wisdom, allowed them the equivalent of 4 senior players added to their salary cap. Just another concession for the Giant$.

2016 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
SaberFang replied to dee-luded's topic in Melbourne Demons
Don't forget we could still find a way into the first round this year through trade, either of players or giving away our 2017 first rounder in exchange for another team's first rounder this year. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 9
SaberFang replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I just don't see why people get their knickers in a knot about players being out of form. Salem is out of form, needs to go back into the VFL and find form before coming back into the team. It happens with young players, it happens with older players. ANB should've been in the team last week while his form is good; as it stands, he'll probably only be able to string together 2 strong AFL games before his form drops off, and there's nothing wrong with that (except the folly of match committee ignoring him). -
Clayton Oliver signs new 2 year deal.

2 year extension on his current 2 years presumably, so until end of 2019. -

You little bloody ripper. On ya Clarry! -
I don't get the hate for King at all. He's criticised us when we've been [censored], and he's one of few media commentators really pushing our gameplan this year as something promising. Brownie points for pointing out the ridiculous throws that the Dogs get away with. Boggles my mind how the media never focus on these topics.
-
Don't get me started on the Olympics! What an utterly farcical waste of money, all at the taxpayer's expense. Almost more corrupt than FIFA.
-
We won't give up anything for him if he's only one year away from RFA status. And we certainly won't be trading away any picks or players if he can be a DFA.
-
That graphic Hutchy put up on FC Monday disgusted it me. It was basically his "How-To-Tank Legitimately" guide for Fremantle, including early surgeries, playing undeveloped kids and "resting" (ie. dropping) their senior players. Media is full of hypocrites and idiots with short term memories. One rule for some teams, another rule for us, it seems.

When you top-up with has-beens and scraps from better clubs, you end up treading water. They've deluded themselves into thinking their list can win a premiership, which is legitimately hilarious (for non-Tigers supporters). Just watch them push for finals yet again, finish ~11th-9th this year, and end up with another mediocre draft pick and player rather than the elite talent they desperately want. There's simply too many clubs who want the best picks this year, like Freo and Essendon, to allow Richmond the wooden spoon.
-
Geez, Richmond sound desperate to get that big-name talent this year! Seeing as they can't shut up about Treloar choosing Collingwood, they clearly took it personally last year. Any player dumb enough to go to their club for $900k a year is a fool. Simply irresponsible tying up that amount of money and isn't how you build lists contending for premierships; ergo, Richmond are so far off the mark, yet still appear to be in denial about it!

Horrific news if it has spread to any internal organs. Good luck with your recovery Rough, fight this bastard and stay strong! -
Jetta gone for a week, Vince free to play.

From what I understand, several "key" people at the MFC are disillusioned by the grading of "intentional" considering the circumstances. Not sure if they'll challenge it, but they'll make their thoughts known, methinks. -
For the love of God! He can't leave "as a free agent" because he isn't entitled to free agency status. All he's allowed to do is bin his contract and walk to other clubs under the category of Delisted Free Agent. All current banned Essendon players have this right, and this right alone, simply due to Essendon's breach of contract for allowing a WADA-breaching injection regime into the club.
