  1. I wouldn't mind Grimes' experience in the backline this week, considering how garbage Collingwood's forward line is.
  2. Engage in debate? You mean pontificate to anyone with a contrasting opinion how wrong they are?
  3. Wonder if it's related to his no-contest at the ball last week ? Interesting way to deal with him. Fairly dropped on form though.
  4. Unexpected omission!? Looks like the coaches are serious about players who don't perform.
  5. Pies will niggle his hand all day long if he plays. Not a great idea.
  6. I don't see the point moaning about Frawley. He clearly wasn't interested in staying, despite Roos' waffle about how "invested" he was in the club. Besides, we got Brayshaw. It's as if people have forgotten how damn good that boy is.
  7. Always a good listen, Dom. Certainly does well representing the club.
  8. Carlton will annihilate St Kilda next week on current form. It's mindboggling, but they actually look like finishing well above us on the ladder this year.
  9. Not with Turnbull and his Liberal cronies doing everything they can to sabotage the NBN and maintain Rupert's precious pay-TV monopoly.
  10. It'll take him a few games to adjust, but I think Collingwood next week will be a good test for him.
  11. I can think of another 'C' that springs to mind when thinking of Essendon.
  12. I have no real issues with what the coaching group are doing with underdone defenders this year. Yeah, our defence isn't really holding up, but they're clearly getting as many games into the kids as they can in the hope that it'll help Goodwin next year.
  13. If we hadn't played Essendon in the first 5 rounds, we win. It was an obviously strategic fixturing decision to play them against us so early in the season knowing they'd have fade quickly, just like how the AFL conveniently had them play against us, St Kilda and GWS in the last pre-season; the 3 bottom placed teams from season 2014, right in the midst of the uncertainty about the outcome of ASADA's case against them.
  14. We haven't beaten the Saints since Roos arrived either, and Carlton have won 6 in a row. I'd sooner rate our chances against Sydney, frankly.
  15. And so it continues. Still yet to defeat a team we haven't already beaten last year, and still yet to defeat another team that Roos hasn't defeated in his 3 years at the Dees. Eventually this has to change before we, as supporters, accept that we are legitimately moving forward as a club. God help us if we manage to lose to Fremantle.
  16. Why the [censored] is Dawes playing over Pederson?
  17. If we don't sit someone on Mitchell the entire day then I have no idea what the hell our coaches are doing. Has proven a very effective tactic all year.
  18. Fremantle will never be a remotely interesting or exciting team to watch as long as Lyon is in charge.
  19. He definitely couldn't have extended those arms out on both sides any further, looking for some love from his teammates. Such a twit.
  20. Riewoldt got exactly what he deserved for such a soft free kick -- out of bounds.
  21. It's certainly tedious having a combination of the same [censored] 6 teams every single week on free to air. Always some combination of Hawthorn, Collingwood, Richmond, Geelong, Carlton and Sydney (the Franklin factor).
  22. It's almost irrelevant posting three because North Melbourne are easily the most bafflingly dull, uninteresting, vanilla... no, wait, that's insulting to vanilla... team in the competition. There is literally not one thing about that team that grabs or excites you, and (like Fremantle last year) you know they're about a season or two away from oblivion. That smarmy, smug smile on Brayshaw and Scott's face will disappear pretty quickly. 2nd and 3rd is an interchangeable contest between non-entities like Fremantle and Brisbane, and teams like Geelong and Essendon. Both tedious to the point I'll actively avoid the game even if it's the only one on. Can't stand Worsfold, either. At least basket cases like Gold Coast and Richmond are watchable when they lose, purely for the LOL factor.
  23. Hahaha, that was the most spectacular failure of a goal kick I've ever seen. Selfish incarnate.
