Saints have turned the corner this off season. Was foolish to write them off as needing another 2 wooden spoons before they'd finally get off the bottom. All the young teams looking to be tired after only 8 rounds. The season gave great hope in the first month of being more even, but will end up predictably falling back into the same teams dominating thanks to cherry picking the experienced players every trade season, and leaving the cellar dwellers in a perpetual rebuild cycle.

A club with terrible list management would be tricked into paying top dollar for him. After all, he's a well known player in the league's worst team. He's lauded for his marking, but we know his deficiencies (which, sadly, innumerably outweigh the pros).

Has anyone involved at the club actually commented on wanting Howe to stay? Obviously the public line last year about Frawley was that we would've loved him to stay (highly unlikely once pick 3 came into the equation), but I don't remember Roos saying anything positive about Howe so far this year.

He's an absolutely atrocious set shot of goal. Couldn't even tell you the last time he kicked truly from a set shot, it's that rare.
