  1. According to Sandy, Hardwick's problem is the lack of consistency. I'd say Richmond are very consistent: consistently average.
  2. Richmond are such a pathetic team.
  3. Basil, please just shut the [censored] up. "Well, we all talk about the captain's goal... the captain's goal from someone as inspiring as Cotchin.... he wants to take all the responsibility.... and it's on the way and it looks great and... it's a point."
  4. Selwood has the ball hit him in the face and he goes down like he's been shot with a shotgun. Pathetic stager and yet nobody ever calls him out
  5. Geelong [censored] me for obvious reasons, but even today it's very apparent that they all take after Selwood with the pathetic ducking and staging for frees (after barely any high contact). Throwing themselves back onto the turf with their hands outstretched as if they've just been whacked in the head with a cricket bat. Yet the umpires still pay it! Amazing!
  6. They won't give up any of their youth that have currency. Cripps ain't going anywhere unless he asks to leave. Carlton will pull a Collingwood and demand far more currency than their players are worth.
  7. Some rather dubious umpire favourtism to the Dogs in the last half of that quarter. Stringer played for a free. Highs paid to the Bulldogs that aren't being paid anywhere else. Bont clearly deliberately kicking the ball to the boundary line from about 50 metres away (to no players) that isn't called deliberate. Why do we never get this kind of armchair ride treatment from the umps??
  8. So is there anyone we want in the first annual Carlton fire sale this October? Murphy is a terrible captain but would definitely slot straight into our midfield.
  9. Geez, hard not to feel for him at the end when he thinks he's done something horribly wrong. What a great bloke though, so glad we have him. Even moreso in light on Sylvia's 'retirement'.
  10. The funniest part about such a putrid team having the Friday night spotlight so much is that it means far more pressure on their club and their coach when they don't perform. Compare that to Brisbane, absolutely putrid this year but playing in timeslots where nobody watches nor cares. Imagine the pressure Leppa would be under if he had to roll his team out every third Friday.
  11. Nobody panic about Friday night Carlton withdrawals in the next fortnight after Collingwood v Geelong next week, as normal service resumes the week after with Carlton v Geelong on Friday. And guess what follows that? Sydney v... Carlton. Don't worry though, Carlton is back on Friday nights in Round 17 against... Hawthorn. FMD I'm glad this fixturing completely blew up in Seven's face after completely screwing us and the Bulldogs over. Something like 7 Friday night games each for Richmond, Carlton and Collingwood, of which only one team is any good. So much for needing to "earn" Friday nights!
  12. And Seven have 4 more of these shitfest Carlton Friday night matches to look forward to! Meanwhile, talented young lists like Melbourne, GWS and the Bulldogs have none. Some fantastic forward planning there by the geniuses at Channel 7.
  13. Alright, we've had a cracking good time, time to focus on Freo.
  14. Just throw in Spencer, tell him to be as dirty, physical and nasty on-field as possible. The only way Freo lose this match is if we throw them so far off their natural game it leaves them startled.
  15. Can we please change the thread title to "Heretier Lamumba not out with any injuries"?
  16. Should've placed some bets on how many rounds he'd survive before breaking his foot.
  17. I'm sure the club is happy to wait until the end of the year to see if any of their targets are interested in making a move to us. They won't pay Howe more than he's worth, especially if his asking price could net us an up-and-coming midfielder like Shiel.
  18. Geez, if only White can deliver the goods as VDB has. Here's hoping!
  19. Don't be ridiculous. Everyone knows the best cure for a chemical imbalance like depression is changing where they work... to do the exact same job.
  20. I LOVE this photo for so many reasons! Love it!!!
  21. I think it's well established by now that this award is a crock of [censored] (and has been a poisoned chalice for us anyway). How many teams got nominated last year because they tore up the field playing against us? They never reward the player that dominates competent teams with good-to-great stats; instead, they reward the player who dominates against witches hats (I mean, Cripps was playing the Saints for crying out loud!) It's pretty obvious to me who had the most special performance this round, but Hogan will be overlooked. I mean, he made last year's AA defender look like a rag doll.... but, you know, he didn't kick nine goals and have seventy eight disposals against a team with gaping holes all over their list.
  22. A lazy 6 goals to Jake Stringer tonight...
  23. Arguably Roos already knew how to nullify Port based on our performances last year.
  24. How nice it would be to see the expected premiers fall in a heap.
  25. Hilarious to see BF forums raving about Cripps today. Because it's so impressive to dominate against a basket case like St Kilda. Meanwhile, Hogan embarrasses last year's AA defender in Alex Rance, AND kicks two goals in wet conditions. Not even a contest for rising star.
