    Anyone follow The Zanotti Files on FB? It is just now claiming we are a potential suitor for Rockliff. Says we have definite interest. Credibility zero?

    I could see a swap of 48 for 57 or 68 happening.

    Steve Quartermain on Twitter suggesting Lewis coming to MFC on a 3 year deal. The clubs are now haggling over draft picks.

    Rawlings and McCartney have coached their own AFL sides. Matthews, McPherson and Jennings have been around the block, as has Egan. Viney and Mahoney aren't far away from things either. There's always room for excellent football people at the club.

    That's debatable and Jeffy is already on our list. It costs nothing to bring him on.

    You build your forward line around your key forwards. Jeffy is still our #1 small forward. 29 goals from 17 games in a year he'd rather forget is not awful. I'd be backing him to bounce back strongly next year.

    I reckon the fact that he has just recently signed a three year extension suggests that Jeffy is weighing heavily in the club's plans going forward.

    Hawthorn clearly looking out for the future here and making a shrewd decision which will pay off long term. However, you can't replace a Sam Mitchell or a Luke Hodge. They are generational players.

    Obviously things could change over the preseason, but if I'm picking my best 22 to win a game for the club tomorrow I'm selecting Pedo at CHF.

    Unfortunately they just had the Essendon FM on SEN (his name escapes me) and he said that there was still a bit of work to do regarding the Hibberd trade.

    Very small sample size, but he played off half back in the last half dozen games of 2015 and did quite well. Goodwin recruited him to fill a half back role off the back of these games.
