I still always think we are a better team with Grimesy in the side. Seems to get too single minded when given a roll though. Doesn't tend to elaborate or play on instinct when he is given a job. Needs to get a bit more creative.

I'm two years into the recovery from mine and it will never be the same. Even when the break heals your body has changed. Soft tissues injuries become much more common on that leg. For every 1 that comes good, there are probably 5 or more that don't get back to where they were. Just look at Blease or Strause. Awesome juniors, now both on the way out. Nathan Brown comes to mind as well, never the same.

I don't think a lot of people on here really appreciate and understand just how far behind a broken leg can set a player back. Reilly will be a gem with a good full pre season under his belt.

Every melbourne supporter should do them selves a favour and watch Paul Roos B&F night speech (sorry can't attach the link on my iPhone). The part that stood out for me was when he said that there's no question that Melbourne holds onto the past and that everyone who supports melbourne needs to move on. Roos is clearly trying to recreate the Melbourne Football Club and I think we all need to make that happen as well.

What's depressing and sad is just how quickly and aggressively everyone has turned on him. I for one will wait for Mitch Clark to officially announce that he will not be at the Dees before I comment on him
