Right with you that one Saty, it's just a sport. A lot of people here need to get some serious perspective in their lives. Hell of a lot more important things going on in this world then a football club. I love the Dees, I love footy. But I've lost a lot more in important thing in my life then to get hung up on football.

One J Hogan could learn a lot from watching this bloke

I think this is the only thread interested in this year after today. I hope so much that Trenners get back up to AFL level. This club needs something good to happen

Well it's been a long train ride home down the Gippsland line so it given me plenty of time to think about disgrace that was served up today. what I have discovered is that after 10 years of the same old Melbourne Football Club [censored], it doesn't even hurt anymore. I'm so used to being disappointed that I don't even care. It's just another typical week of a Demons supporter. Happy if they win, but a loss is just water off a ducks back now. On the game it's self though, what a pathetic attempt at a football game that was. Hogan might be a laziest forward I've ever seen. He doesn't lead, he doesn't chase, he doesn't tackle, he doesn't actually compete in the air. If it doesn't come to him by butler service he just cracks the sads, throws his arms out and watches the ball race away. He's playing like an entitled rich kid who thinks the world revolves around him. McDonald is a decent defender but when the balls in his hands he can't make a decision if his life depends on it. He doesn't know when to take off and run, hand pass it off or just kick the thing out of there! I said it in the match day thread. He and Garland couldn't seem to decide who was playing on Daniher, half the time it came in and he was playing on Bugg or Jetta. Lumumba is a backman who didn't lay a single tackle, all he did was run into trouble. Oliver was left hung out to dry by his more senior team mates. It's the kids second game, he shouldn't be trying to do it all! Kent did nothing all day. Watts was as lazy and half hearted as ever. Gawn was hardly sighted outside of a ball up and when did win them they went to nowhere. Brayshaw was clearly underdone and probably should not have been selected, not really his fault but if you put your hand up to play then you gotta be ready to go. Paul Roos looked like he was on the phone to his nana all day in the box. Garlett and Kennedy were pretty much it today and jeffy only had 6 touches. hmmm maybe it does still hurt

Well that was nothing short of disgusting. The umpiring in general has been atrosious. Mcdonald and garland need to decide who is playing on Daniher and actually stay on him. Half his contests were against Jetta or bugg. need a big lift and some actual structure next half.

Yep lets just have front on only tackles like rugby, or everyone wear a helmet like American football. Because they no problem with concussion at all.... [censored] idiot.

Looked like just cramping by the way the physio was working him on the bench. Was watching pretty closely when he came limping off

Out: OMac, Bugg/Harmes in: Brayshaw, Petracca Frost to go back to cover OMac. I think he'd be a. Better defender than forward. Plus with Pedo, Watts and Hogan forward, were tall enough. brayshaw in for either Bugg or Harmes. Not that either have done a lot wrong, I just think Gus is better. unlesh Petracca across the half forward line

Looks like one G Ablett Jr hasn't missed a beat in his return
-
So does that mean this game never actually happened?
-
6. Viney 5. T McDonald 4. Watts 3. Kennedy 2. Gawn 1. N Jones

Your second paragraph just perfectly described my morning
-
And if yours is the one life it saves, is that a waste?

All I could think when I saw this was "Run jonesy! Run! Run like the wind son!!!

Great news, couple of seasons ago I think he woulda got weeks when they were really cracking down on the bump. Good to see the MRP might finally be seeing sense.
-
His biggest problem is that he clearly took his eye off the ball and focused on the player. probably get a week
-
At nothing really more than a guess, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Trengove played in the VFL development league for a week or two before a few games at VFL level. I think the meds would be keen to really just ease him into it after such a long time out
-
I'm pretty sure this game is a replacement game for one of the NT games so any 11 game or less member can still use their card to get in.

Based on our last 10 years of form and our undoubted ability to disappoint.... All of them

Who Are You Most Excited to See Play in 2016

Dean Terlich...... I'll let my self out -
I think it will be best to just never get emotionally attached to Hogan (good luck with that). It will hurt just that little bit less if he leaves. and with that I think I'll stay far away from this thread

I'm starting to think that if enough people forget/ignore Tasmania, that it may just go away
