When does the coach start taking the blame?

Up until now the excuses have been valid. Not anymore, I agree. -
When does the coach start taking the blame?

I really think that many of our underachievers were victims of the miasm hanging over the club due to poor leadership, negative culture and hopeless development. We have moved on from that and need to cut some slack with players such as Watts and judge him on what happens next. He was sublime yesterday and a match winner - probably for the first time. I liked Gary Lyons article suggesting he model himself on Gunston. -
The mids we have brought in such as Tyson, Newton and Vandenberg can all kick a goal. Very different to the past.

We can do without the detail.

Like to change the thread to When does the coach take the credit. We functioned as a united team the first time in years. The feeling within the group was palpable. That's what Roos does so well -
Agree. The sub is a hard gig. Shouldn't be too judgemental.

Says who!

It will be interesting to hear Slobbos spin on the loss

Loved the passion and excitement in the group. They rushed in to remonstrate with Shaw after that dog act and celebrated all the newbies first goals. Also the song was sung with great gusto. It's obvious there is a great bond developing between the players - a Roos specialty. Bodes well for retaining players. Add Petracca to that group next year and watch out. I think we can officially say that Hogan and Brayshaw won't disappoint. Can cancel my consultation with Dr Nitschke,

Apparently Vince was BOG in the Casey practice match. If so hard to see him being left out.

6. McDonald 5.jones 4. Watts 3. Viney 2. Vandenberg 1. Jamar -
The Suns are a small side. I think we will need to go taller next week. I'm sure Hogan will benefit from Dawes leadership up forward.
-
I would think about getting a white stick and a dog.
-
in Vince and Dawes out JKH and Toumpas - both unlucky but team balance
-
Not sure we need both Kent and JKH - Vince will come in and maybe Dawes for Toumpas. I think Frost needs to stay, preferably down back.
-
Can't believe you were at the game. Jamar was awesome and killed Zac Smith.
-
Rapt for Col Garland, Jack Watts, Jeremy Howe and Jack Viney. they should have silenced the doubters as I hope Jack Grimes and Jack Trengove will in time
-
I think the mix of Roos defence and Goodwins attack looks like it will work a treat. Hats off to the recruiters as well. Happy days!

Great to see some competition for ruck spots. Spencil has had 2 good games in a row

Tell her watching footy results in a testosterone surge. Mind you a loss is the equivalent of a very cold spoon.
