  1. That is Roos speak for "yes we've agreed upon a role but now is not the time, within the broader strategy, to define it" He's in the trenches with us for sure.
  2. Yes and, from what I could tell, Rance walked up and Jones completely ignored him. Jones must be pinching himself now that he finally has a brigade around him
  3. Ah thanks for the correction. Maybe I'm thinking of the Biz. Either way, haven't been as optimistic as I am now since those days and am loving what the harmful hunters have brought to the table in so few games
  4. I was pretty young so maybe not remembering correctly, but Wagner and Hunt remind me of players like Ingerson and Big Mac in the 90s. Effective, reliable and pretty good kicks of the footy.
  5. Initial thoughts: Umpires can go [censored] themselves with whatever black and yellow object they want. We won despite them. Dom Tyson back to his best. Fantastic. Gawn and Viney could both wim brownlow. Alex Rance showed himself to be scum. I love how our forward set up doesn't rely on Hogan. He doesn't carry it like we thought he'd have to, and I think this will make him a better player and more at ease in his wanting to belong to this team. Well done coaches. Commentators showed themselves for what they are. Useless. It was all about Richmond, the whole game. I like flying under the radar, but eventually they are going to have to admit...we are good! Dees are here. You little [censored] ripper!!! Thank you Paul Roos.
  6. Agreed. He redefines the location of the left field with most of his posts and I have noticed his absence
  7. I agree with this. Imagine the reactions from the 'land if those vids had not been of Wagner and Hunt but of Petracca calling his mum (or creator). Yes a lot of hype, but it would also harken back to the marketing of Watts' debut. There's deliberate strategising going on these days that doesn't have an amateur reek to it.
  8. Does this mean we are now "our Premiers"? Suck [censored] Eddie. Brilliant boys. Wagner, Harmes, Hunt... Go Dees!
  9. Hi Roosy. Loving your work mate. Don't make selections based on what we say here. Ta.
  10. This might have been said but I feel this is too simplistic a view. It's a coaching team more than head coach and assistants, it seems. Could be wrong but these guys appear to be playing the long game. It's gonna have hurdles and I'm hoping that yesterday was us crashing into a hurdle and smashing our collective face on the tarmac, but still able to get up and keep going. Edit: contradiction correction
  11. I'm sailing on the River Maas between Rotterdam and Antwerp and shall be doing likewise around 5am. Not as exotic but go Dees.
  12. Pure gut call but I have a feeling that Clarry and Gus are going to love playing alongside each other. Go Dees!
  13. Just watched replay. The Watts-Hogan bromance. Sensational.
  14. Jack Watts immense. His two evasions in Q1 and Q4 were wonderful. The second one leading to VdB's dribble goal was out of the clutches of 3 oranges
  15. In - Dunn, Brayshaw Out - Omac, Tyson Smash the cheats by 200 to justify the AFL relocating them to Tassie as the "Hobart Rehabbers"
  16. "Taken by Melbourne with their 34th pick at the 2009 national draft, he entered the Demons changerooms for the first time to find all the players dressed up for a dancing contest." ...says it all, really.
  17. This. Such a beautiful thing to watch and some of them seemed to go 30-40m!
