Minimum. A singe player offending is given a 2 yr min (I think), so if a club is guilty of mass doping surely they have to be completely wiped out? Highly unlikely that would happen, but 1 thing that should be enforced is that none of these players should ever be allowed to play for Essendon again. They will still be physically reaping the rewards of the program so that is unacceptable.

To be fair, the hook was well baited. I don't mind Terlich, the only issue is his disposal and I don't think I'm alone when I say my hearts in my mouth every time he has ball in hand (Grimes in a similar boat). If he cleans that up he's very valuable to the side.

We haven't played a home game against Essendon since 2010. We've beaten them almost every time though (3-1), so what's the explanation for denying us an opportunity to gain financially out of that match-up?

On potential punishments, would it be realistic to make 'deals' with the players on a shorter term ban, suggesting a lower level of fault, but imposing tougher penalties on the club? The kind of penalty I'd be looking at here is forcing each convicted player to enter a special draft to move them on from Essendon. These guys have been given a permanent enhancement to their playing ability and regardless of suspension they will return to receive the benefits. They cannot be allowed to be at the club that started all of this, and need to be dispersed throughout the competition. Is that feasible?
