Is it just me or do all our mids setup way to close a stoppage, especially defensive side? If one of ours wins the ball we dish off a handball of about 1.5 mtrs, then another, then another, all under pressure from multiple opponents because we've gone nowhere and they're all so bunched. Stand back a bit further and those handballs might buy enough time for a decent disposal. Is that logical or am I missing something?

I have a feeling we'll be looking at some FAs of our own this year, so that 2nd round pick may not be a given. If we were to lose him and pick up another FA, it may well cancel out altogether.

I mentioned during the game that the tackle he laid that caused the concussion might earn him a week or so break, and was called an idiot for it by Hardtack. I'm a fan of Howe, when he's on, but surely any logical mind can see his output has been substandard and he needs to sit out. He can't be dropped as that potentially hurts his value if he were to leave, so I'd suggest a suspension might be a bonus.

Kreuzer as FA option? Having a pretty good game and I reckon things might have finally clicked with him. Also there's the irony involved after 'winning' the Kreuzer cup but then getting him for nothing when he's just about to peak.

There's no way in hell that's his, nor any other developing players fault. there are players on the list that are being looked at by club and supporters. I'd suggest there's enough dead wood on the list to get rid of before the potentials get culled. There's enough space on any list for a good team, and a development base, hell, you can't have a list of superstars under the salary cap (I guess depends on the club....). It comes down to how well you develop and manage the young talent. That's our future, not the current 25+ group - their job is to get us ready. I want to see the Harmes', Whites, Kings, etc debut to see what they've got, at the expense of the usual suspects, but I'm happy to defer to the experts and wait patiently until the time comes. Personally, I think all 3 will be regular 22 come the end of 2016.

After all the negativity on here, and a few posts I read on other threads, I was thinking it might be time for a bit of positivity. Considering our recent situation, being bashed from pillar to post, maybe we need to look back, week to week, to find some inspiration. Flip side of the coin is we might be reading/viewing the same stuff every time we play certain teams, but then there will always be the Essendons, who seem to provide new footage whenever we play them.
