He always looked like he'd be a player, but more of a small forward type. He's exploded since he got into the midfield and fits our needs as well. We should definitely have a look, but not sure on contract status?

Delistings/trades at end of the season
FireInTheBennelly replied to Northern Summer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Just doing some research, there's something not right here. Last year he knocked back free agency and re-signed with the Crows for 4 years. Now they come out and say he's not best 22 and future uncertain? Is it just a rocket to fire him back into form perhaps? -

Roos said this week he thought the players had finished early, which is far more embarrassing -

I'd say he fits our needs perfectly? -
I'd love to see the stats on how many coaches survive after the board has come out and publicly backed them.

Sounds like a match made in heaven

Haven't seen any of him but he was in Casey's best again today, is White potentially that player?

Just wondering why he would have made a specific question about the location of the injection. Do they know the TB4 injections are done into the stomach (because that's where they got theirs)? -

pick and choose -
The talk is that Prestia's only considering leaving due to the state of the Suns culture, unsafe workplace and the like. It's an assumption on my part, but going on Bennell's recent history I'd think he's a part of that poor culture. If that is the case I doubt whether Prestia would be keen on moving with him.
-
He's top of the wishlist for me. Others have said Bennell, and TBH I'd like both, but I think if we get Bennell we don't have any chance of getting Prestia - ever. Speed and skills is what we need, and he has both sorted with some x factor as well. I'm hoping Roosy and co have the kitchen sink unbolted and ready to throw.

Surely this spells the end of the Lions PP????? If they need more trading power they can look to next years draft and trade away.....

Is it possible that Jab knows he's gone, so whilst injured he's applied for the voluntary suspension or whatever it's called. Meaning a lesser final suspension when the ruling comes down? That would explain why he's not around the club, i.e. not allowed near the joint. Also, why the hell wouldn't Essendon tell Hird he's on suspension for poor performance, on full pay, until the end of the year? Get him the [censored] out of there so the players can get on with it. -
Far worse than that that, I think they're all toothist!

Loving the Bulldogs take the game on, but yes, that is an added bonus to this particular match
-
Free kicks 14-8. Standard stuff I suppose.
-
That's something I didn't see in any pre-season training report. Apparently every Demon player has had his back surgically removed. Give us a [censored] free kick when they jump on us FFS!!!

Casey Scorpions v Werribee Tigers
FireInTheBennelly replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yes noticed that too, even if only off the replay. Some chemistry between a tall and a small in the forward line is something we've missed for a long long time. -
Clarko was also asked about the 'dangerous tackle' free kick, and there was one last week as well. As he said, there is no rule in AFL for a dangerous tackle, where did it come from all of a sudden?
-
How many lines before the 'not' turns into an 'all'?
