  1. Max now one of only 10 players picked 7+ times
  2. Bont Captain, Cripps VC
  3. I - Whitfield, Neale, Treloar, Butters Happy for Treloar, he's been huge this year
  4. I disagree. Love Kozzie but Moore has kicked one less goal and has Kozzie covered in just about every other stat
  5. HF - Warner, J Cameron, Heeney F - Waterman, Hogan, Dylan Moore
  6. M - Gulden, Bont, N Daicos R - Max, Cripps, Serong
  7. Maxy 7 time AA ruck
  8. B - Blakey, Weitering, Luke Ryan HB - Zorko, McGovern, Houston First AA for Weitering is a surprise. 5th for McGovern
  9. Caleb Windsor with 1 vote in the rising star is a joke. Lawson Humphries, who I've never even heard of (played 9 games for the cats) got more votes
  10. Can't see how she doesn't. There's no one to push her out
  11. It's not much. A lot of 'I'm not going to comment, I'm not involved in those discussions, I haven't spoken to Trac/Trac's family.' Also a lot of 'we love him, we're working with him, we're looking to get him back on the field next year'.
  12. Not sure you can play Daniel, Salem and Bowey in the same backline. Unless Salo goes into the midfield again, and I'm not sure his body could cope with that full time
  13. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/petracca-airs-grievances-in-private-meeting-of-dees-leaders-20240828-p5k60z.html Just an excerpt. "According to a source with knowledge of the meeting, who would not be identified because it was a private gathering, the meeting ended about 3pm with hugs, handshakes and high-fives, but left those in attendance with little confidence that Petracca will be a Melbourne player in 2025. Gawn, vice captain Jack Viney, Tom Sparrow and Petracca were at the restaurant. Star defender Jake Lever would have been in attendance but was ill (he missed the round 24 loss to Collingwood the night before due to gastro). Petracca’s concerns included his belief that Melbourne people did not check in with him enough in the aftermath of his King’s Birthday injury, the pending departure of teammate Alex Neal-Bullen, and previous culture issues. Three teammates, who have spoken to this masthead on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the topic, remain concerned that while Petracca’s grievances have now been aired several times to the players, they are not sure how the problems can be fixed. The pending departure of another premiership player, Alex Neal-Bullen, was another talking point, with Petracca suggesting this could have been avoided if the environment was better at the Dees."
  14. No way would they help him get to the club he wants. AFL have no interest seeing a star player walk out on his club without the club getting a fair return
  15. "And as for Brand Petracca's ideal-world hopes of landing at Collingwood, the Magpies have zero trade currency. Besides, they already have on their books a footballer with a far bigger brand. It's called Brand Daicos, although that brand has come to Nick Daicos mainly through football, not a need to tell people about it." Ouch.
  16. Trac has always seemed to need to be mates with everyone (hence all the buddying up with oppo players). Seems like he doesn't like have tough conversations so will blame whoever isn't in the room. Or isn't happy to divulge the real reason he wants our, because he knows it looks bad for him.
  17. It was obviously BS. The guy has read about Trac meeting with Neale, and the rest of this stuff, and decided tk big note himself on radio. And once asked if he was close to Trac, he couldn't exactly say no, could he?
  18. I think he's working really hard behind the scenes to save us from ourselves. Melbourne want to burn early picks on Houston? Trac tells him not to come. Gonna burn cap space and picks on Lynch? He requests a trade to Carlton for McKay and, wait for it, more high picks. What a man
  19. He's not going to get it at Carlton or Collingwood
  20. If it is to be this year, the only saving grace is that there's no way he could get to the Pies. That would be completely unacceptable.
  21. Trac isn't upset that Clarry got picked over someone like Bailey Laurie. It's all a convenient excuse to get to a big club.
  22. Wait til the Tiges have traded out everyone and give him the ultimatum. Fix your [censored] now, or the only team you're going to is Richmond. Do the same next year. We have the whip hand.
  23. The problem now is, if true, it's not Trac [censored] on the clubs medical department, or unhappy about the footy dept. It's Trac [censored] on the fans. And that'll be hard for him to come back from
  24. Goody's post-match interview. At one point, he definitely says as it stands
  25. I voted 10+, not because I'm all doom and gloom, just because they are hard to win and not that many clubs win them within a shorter period of time. Hawks, Tiges, Geelong (07-11) and Lions are the exception this century. Collingwood - 12 years Geelong - 11 years WC - 12 years Sydney - 7 years, but if they win it this year it will have been 12 Bulldogs - 8 years if they win it this year
