We have just appointed Paul McNamee to the CEO.

Why would we want someone back who was sacked from his old position at MFC and oversaw the salary cap debacle that still costs MFC today? Furthermore, he oversaw a similar stuff up at Freo where for the luck of God and the AFL they did not get pinged for.

Where MFC today has a need to change the culture, here is a CEO that has overseen a truly mediocre culture where a talented list has underperformed and its strewn with players who are difficult to manage on and off field. He has achieved very little at Freo.

No wonder Eddie overlooked Schwab when he was looking for CEO prior to Schwab heading west.

I think it would be good for us if CC could bring him back to the club in some capacity I'm unsure though whether his annoucment inregards to Freo have anything to do with us. I think he was asked inregards to the CEO position maybe the Club has worked out another spot for him.

Thankfully MFC has already appointed Paul McNamee as the new CEO. Cant see where there would be room or role for Cameron and a former CEO would restrict Paul. Would have thought Schwab would hev been interviewed for CEO role if was available BUt didnt he say wasnt & going to finish his time at Freo. Perhaps he forgot their song...."heave ho.. CEO go!" :blink:

The tigers were happy to see the back of him as well. Wouldnt help out with anything other than what he deemed "his job".

Acted aloof to committee and families who would help at mailouts etc..

Luckily they now have Miller...

Now that Jimma has openly criticised the appointment of McNamee, it looks like CC's little mate is timing his run.

Other than that he could join the whiteshoe brigade on the Gold coast. Cant see him going to Western Sydney.

    REDEEMING by Meggs

    It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    Last Saturday’s crushing loss to Fremantle, after being three goals ahead at three quarter time, should be motivation enough to bounce back for this very winnable Round 5 clash at Windy Hill.     Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval.     With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.
